Have been with Swinton for some time now and I have always had good experiences when calling in, during this Yr I was not able to make payments on the required day and Swinton done all they could to keep my insurance going, even more helpful when I had an accident they were quick to assist me and delt with my claim quickly and efficiently.

Do not use this company! I had a non fault claim that was handled appallingly by their claims dept Kindertons who were totally unprofessional and the whole experience was a nightmare. I requested a feedback form but never received it, hence my review now. I would never use Swinton again so be warned.

I purchased a policy for my motorcycle for close to £100. Then I had to cancel the policy one month in. The fee they feel is fair to perform this cancellation is £70. If an insurance company values the financial risk I pose on them for a year of motorcycling at £100. I can't see how a 10 minute phone call to cancel costs £70. Companies like swinton are the reason why the insurance industry has the reputation it has.

DO NOT USE ... CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DISGUSTING CALLED TO CANCEL AND THEY WASTE YOUR TIME I SAID CANCEL PUTTING ME ON HOLD FOR 2 HOURS WONT CHANGE MY MIND ..AND AFTER ANOTHER 4 HOUR CALL WHERE U TRIED TO CANCEL WHEN I HAD AN ACCIDENT... SCUMBAGS!

I just recently got my car insurance with Swinton. A few months later I changed my car and they stung me with a £300 premium to pay. I was not happy!!!
I then try to cancel as this was too much money.
They charged me £80 to cancel. I will never use this company ever again.

Poor costumer service, cancelled my policy with them that shouldn't go through in the first place, keeps sending email about missing payments for policy that shouldn't exist.
Highly not recommend. Stay away from this company.

Just got my car insurance with swinton and I have to say the customer service is very good and the the gentleman I spoke with was really professional and super helpful. He explained everything. Where some companies will palm you off. I’m so glad they was the cheapest as I hope to stay within them for a while. 😄

The cooldown period is chargeable if cancelled and comes with admin fees?
The phone line sent me through to 3 departments and then hung up
