Horrible experience. They tried to renew my insurance for a car that I have not owned for months, on a payment method that wan no longer valid (expired debit card), and because they failed at it, then charged me 87 £. But that's not all, as the payment method was not valid they sold the debt to a debt recovery firm, without providing any sort of notice or reasoning to me. Now I just payed 87£ just because from previous experience, they're customer support is so bad and taking them to  Small Court would cost me more in lost time and effort.

Staff are generally rude and unhelpful. Very poor standard of staff training or very little management of the service. Over 3 weeks with no resolution to my claim, the vehicle is a total loss and the insurer made that decision on day 2 of the process, no other drivers involved so it should be paid out by now. 3 weeks with no vehicle and no end in sight. Just bad attitude from members of staff for no reason. You enter your details on the automated service, then again to a ‘switchboard’ staff member who then cold transfers you to another department where you have to relay your details and reason for call for the 3rd time

Sadly after years of loyalty got defrauded and very badly mistreated by them. Didn't even give the courtesy of a phone call.

Always a good experience with diamond. I stared using their insurance service as a 20 year old female, got a great price and my renewal always seems a fair deal. Adding my sister as a new driver was easy. I often call up when my renewal is due, rather than using the online service.
Today I had a great phone experience with Mark (from Canada) when I was adding a learner driver to my policy. It’s always worth asking “if there are any discounts I can apply to my policy” it has always saved me an extra £100 or so on my renewal price.
Haven’t had to claim with diamond yet, but so far has been a great service and much more reasonable prices than other insurance providers.

TERRIBLE !.. DREADFUL !.. ABYSMAL !
Dreadful service from beginning to end .. the right hand doesn’t seem to know what the left hand is doing ! Passed from pillar to post and no continuity ( especially in my hour of need following a crash! ) Won’t be renewing with them 🤬

Crashed two weeks ago and no one has been in contact with me to tell me that my car has been written off. The garage have confirmed the car is a write off and that the insurance have removed the car from the garage. Quick to take your money however when it comes to paying you out they won’t even call or answer your calls. Been passed around back and forth and been on hold for hours daily. I have put in complaint after complaint and have still not heard a single thing! Don’t even bother ever using this insurance it’s a complete wait of time and not worth the stress !

Absolutely awful experience with this insurance company. I agreed with the company for monthly instalments to be taken out on the 26th of each month, to which they agreed. However, they started taking out money on the 10th, 17th and other random dates of each month. I was told if I couldn't pay £163.70 by 22nd, my car insurance would be cancelled. I had the money ready in my account to be taken, despite not being on the date I first agreed with. But my car insurance was still cancelled.... I also have 2 years no claims, however since a payment was missed due to the company not following the payment schedule, my car insurance went up by £25.00 and now I have no certificate to prove to further insurance companies I have had no accidents and no claims. This company did not follow the payment schedule agreed upon.

I wish there were zero stars to give! Been with them for 2 years, and have been increasing my insurance every year, had 3 points recently, they doubled my insurance. I decided to leave, they said we will charge you £53, i was fine with it and all of a sudden i got an email sayin you havent paid the outstanding amount, which messed up my credit history. 2 years payment hace been goin through and when i decided to leave, payment not recieved and a massive footprint on my credit history. Unprofessional
