Halfords - Hinckley

Thought I'd best say something about my positive experience with this Halfords store following purchase of an E-bike. There were a few stock issues when I first tried to get the bike I wanted, however, the team have been helpful from day 1 and the lady there (apologies can't recall your name!) managed to source me one especially. They were sympathetic to my issues I was having with costs of fuelling my car so they got the bike built it up for me fairly quickly so I could use it for getting to/from work. I did have a technical issue with the bike losing power, however, the bike technician knows his stuff &, having left it at the store at 7pm Friday, got a call 9am Saturday to say it had been fixed. Many thanks! For anyone who is wondering, the issue was the battery dock being too far apart from the battery base. Again, many thanks to the guys for all their help!

Matt really exceeded my expectation.
Lost the retaining screw for my bikes front brake pads. Half expecting to wait for delivery of a whole brake mechanism, I took my bike into the store. Matt persevered searching the numerous bit boxes and eventually found a replacement. He then quickly assembled the brakes there and then, and indicated no charge. I was so pleased with the service I asked about a maintenance package and gladly took a policy out for peace of mind. Thanks again for the great service and no pressure environment in the Hinckley store, something the other Halford store in the area should learn from.

We went to purchase a new car seat from Halfords in Hinckley. All the staff were very helpful, but especially Emily, who not only fitted the seat expertly into the car but also altered our older one (also bought at Halfords last year) so that the younger grandson can use it safely. She is cheerful, helpful and hardworking.

Three months waiting for the invoice. I have spoken 4 times to the customer service and they advised that I will receive the invoice within 48 hours. Unfortunately, too difficult a task. I do not recommend this store.

Popped into this branch one evening to get some automotive tools, the staff were really helpful. Opening up the cabinet to let me get access to the Halfords advanced gear. Was genuinely having a bad day, but left the building feeling much better after the friendly experience and conversation. Thanks David, and night team!

Great service - needed a replacement rear wiper blade, which was expertly fitted by a very pleasant young man. Young lady at service desk very helpful too.

Quick and easier transaction, had a battery checked and staff member gave us a lot of information and advised to purchase new battery which we did and glad to say vehicle is now up and running again

Total rubbish service. Went there for new battery, Ended up with no car.
Technician was brain dead,went on utube for instructions to change a battery lol.would not let them work on a dog kennel never mind a car.
Keep clear of any minor fixing work,You end up with no car!Still waiting for response from manager,guess what still waiting, now seeking legal advice.

Which I will pass to my solicitor .That sums up halfords utter bad customer service,will not deal with the problem they caused.
