Halfords - Lakeside (Grays)

I have been having persistent problems with my Electric bike which I purchased from Halfords although I have been very disappointed with the reliability of the bike I must say that the service I received from Halfords at Lakeside (Grays) was extremely good. The bike technician tried his very best to sort the problem for me despite experiencing complications outside of his control. 5 Stars for the bike technician at Halfords but 1 star for the reliability of the bike.

Bought some new bulbs and had them fitted. Andy was very helpful and completed the job with ease. Even helped me test out my new rear light.

Received an email 1 week prior to collection to state that the bicycle has been built and would be ready for collection at the allocated time slot and date, however on arrival this was not yet done and had to wait 40 minutes while they built it.

Best costumer service I ever had! Very good checking my car and answering all my questions...I even came back to have my second car checked! 10 out of 10

The worst customer service ever.
They are waste 3x my time. not in stock, online show they have but not in stock, come back later, i coming back still not in stock, next try after when i ask the third sale assistant to go and check the stock in a warehouse she coming back and not in stock but system show not available in next 3 weeks. why is so hard to tell to the customer is not available just the next couple weeks?
online still available.... never ordered anything from them again...

Had my rear dash cam fitted after a year ago the front one was installed. Very happy with both and the rear dash cam was neatly fitted with everything tucked away nicely. Can't remember the chaps name, but was from Romania and was polite, friendly and did a great job. Many thanks!

Extremely slow service, clearly understaffed, noone even on shop floor to assist.
Till point was an absolute mess of junk and not kept tidy, and considering that every bicycle purchase requires the customer to sign a piece of paper, there was nowhere for me to even lean to do this.
Saying that though, very happy with product.

Five star service today fitting a new battery to my car, I even turned up a few hours early and they were able to fit me in!
