Halfords - Canterbury

I ordered 3 produces online. Had a call this morning 1 was not available, immediately refunded on this item. When I went to collect staff member very helpfully help me choose a replacement. I have not yet used the product but very impressed with customer service

Whilst on a cycle ride my chain broke, so I walked 2 miles to Halfords to have it fixed. No such luck, not taking any more maintenance jobs until after Christmas.Yes there was a mechanic on the premises. The job would have taken a very short time and would have resulted in a satisfied customer. Instead I had a very long walk home! Please reconsider whether you are able to help with emergency repairs in future.

Poor quality aluminium number plates. Went into our local store to have 4 number plates made up. Member of staff took our details and we paid for the plates to be made while we waited. When he handed them over they are aluminium and not acrylic! At no point did he tell us they would be aluminium and was this ok. If we had been asked then I wouldn't have had them done. If aluminium was the norm then ok I would have expected that but everywhere else they are acrylic as are the other plates on the cars we have. They should have told us that they do aluminium plates where most other places do acrylic. The quality is very poor and we had to give one back to be done again. I have just wasted my money on plates I will not use. They are flimsy in their construction and will bend and misshapen. I'd even be concerned to use a car wash just in case the brushes catch them and bend them. To say I'm annoyed is an understatement.

Ryan did a top job with a full install of a front/rear dashcam bundle. Tidy as you like - you'd never know anything had been touched - and had time to talk an old man through the technical niceties of it all.

Excellent service. Had a new bluetooth radio fitted to replace factory fitted system in Fiat Punto. Great advice and assistance with selecting the correct parts and works needed. Went ahead with their we-fit and all done with minimum fuss, great attention to detail, and fitted in over the Christmas period when least expected. Cannot praise them highly enough.

Can't complain about the service or anything like that it's there price's. Went in for some OAT long life coolant. My own fault I suppose for not looking at the price straight away but £30 for 5 litres was way to much. Took it back and got a refund and went to CAT automotive in whincheap, same stuff £15 for 5 litres. Think me and halfords are done.

I was told by joining I would get £5.00 off my purchase I didn’t, I was asked if I wanted both bulbs changed rather than just the one that had gone, no one explained that it was going to cost me £9 for each bulb. Please ask the question before purchasing I feel let down and for 3 minutes work I have paid twice and my £5.00 is off next purchase not as explained
