Great one way system which meant I quickly navigated upstairs and avoided close contact with other customers.

The customer service was second to none. I needed a new inner tube replaced for a bicycle wheel. I wish I'd got the name of the guy who did this so I could thank him personally! I visited today (20/8 at 1500) and the job was done without delay.

Aside from being amiable, the employee also provided lots of helpful advice. It was a breath of fresh air to carry out a chore (!) With someone so positive and in such a lovely environment! Thank you.

Parking is fairly limited. Just be careful not to park against the fence on the left as you drive in as that doesn't belong to Halfords and you can get fined for using these spaces.

Short of staff, if you need any info on a product you have to queue to speak to the checkout people. When l visited today one of the checkout people had to keep leaving the till as he was their fitter as well. The staff are all polite considering the pressure they are working under. I wanted a dash cam cable fitted and for 15 minutes work (Halford quote) they wanted £50.00 where on earth did they get that figure from?

As other people here are saying, DO NOT PARK HERE. I parked in 1 of the side-bays and a £60 fine came in the post a week letter. A few other people parked here and they also walked into Halfords. I came in to use my free £20 voucher. Ironically left with a £60 fine instead. It's fine if you park right in front of the store but I will not be back.

BOYCOTT THIS STORE. THEY ARE PARKING SCAMMERS. Avoid buying on this store. Just been penalised with £100 parking fine. I went to collect my order and I did park on side of the store. I waited 5 minutes for collecting my order and I drove off . Next couple days I received a Penalty Charge Notice. I went back to the store complained, but told is not our car park and it is you responsibility. I was shocked by his response, because on their website says the car park is free of charge for Halfords customers never again ordering and buying from Halfords

Tuesday 15/11/22. I very rarely post online reviews about a company, product or service. But I am giving a review today because I was so impressed during my visit to Halfords. Both the staff I saw gave excellent service. They were very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely go to this store again.

I was looking to buy some engine oil to top up my car: it had to be Mobil 1 0W-30 ESP LV, which was in stock. The price of 1 litre has mercifully come down to £15.74, from over £20 when I last bought some ! Pleased with the service at the till.

Scam warning!

The first 4 bays of their car park are private and if you park there you will receive a £100 fine.

Halfords make no effort to tell you this and refuse to correct it.

I will never use your services ever again.

You will leave a generic comment from saying to talk to your customer service team to investigate but they do not help, I tired.

I just did a Click and Collect this morning (24 Dec) and your Cashier was great. He was polite, helpful and friendly. He's an asset! Also the Click and Collect went smoothly. No complaints whatsoever.
