I had my headlight replaced at Halfords in Crewe today and wanted to leave a review to say what excellent service I had from the young woman, Erin who works there. She was polite, efficient and very helpful. I hope she’s appreciated by the management there as she does a great job! Thanks Erin :)

Work carried out, pleased, but had to wait all day. I have to ask my husband to come with me because I can’t carry the bike up the stairs at the Crewe store - and he struggles too! They need a bigger lift, or bikes downstairs, ridiculous to have to carry bike upstairs!

Good service at the desk and replacing the car battery.
The recommended battery didn’t fit after a lot of trying. Unfortunately the system has the wrong battery type for my car. I had to find the replacement in the online store and then they got it to fit in minutes.

The bike department is a joke! Took my bike for a health check and service, received no communication from them as to any work needed, despite being told they would be in touch to go through any work needed before they proceeded. When I went in store to ask about my bike I was given a list of parts that supposedly needed to be replaced and prices. The work identified seemed to be made up out of thin air and included things like replacing brake pad, despite the pads on having only been replaced a month or so prior. When asked the sales assistant had no clue and give answers to my questions about the work that couldn’t possibly be true.

Stood at the counter. Had to ask Oli if he was serving. Big hickey on his neck! Got my order, obviously did not read it as only picked up 2 out of 3 items and then proceeded to have a conversation with someone else. Held out my receipt in outstretched hand without even looking in my direction. Would be ashamed if that was how my kid was acting!

The staff doing the work were great - but don't get an e-receipt, never received it, when I asked for a replacement the website Customer Services very unhelpful, try to fob you off or tell you to make a special journey back to the store - useless

Had a battery fitted and now I have critical safety issues, a warning message has appeared immediately after fitting saying Restraint system malfunction (air bags) there were no problems before.

Excellent service and help from a young lady today who sorted me out with a forward facing carpet. She was so patient and explained until I had finally got it and carried it to my car for me. Thank you.
