The staff here are absolute superstars!!!
Headlight bulb had gone so came to Halfords! One of the staff (Jamie I think his name was, young brunette guy) noticed I was standing in the bulb aisle looking totally lost!!
Not only did he help me pick the right one but fitted the headlight for me within 10 mins!!! Made it look easy too!! I was in such a rush that day so really appreciate how helpful and efficient everyone was!!
I hope head office gives these guys a decent Christmas bonus!!!!

The staff in the Crawley bike section go above and beyond to help you. My son had his wheels off his bike stolen so we were feeling very disheartened but Chris today was extremely helpful. It really makes a difference when you receive excellent customer service!! Thank you.

Large Chain Low Prices BUT with a Local Level of Service!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I tried calling to book my brothers bike in, after his chain broke for a quick same day repair and it’s a shame you can’t call direct as call centre couldn’t get though.

However, risked just popping in and was expecting the low level service you get from large chains generally but honestly, just as good as your local bike shop!

Not only got the bike repaired immediately, was helpful to look over, give advice and some fixes that could’ve been terminal if not picked up!

Also Phil gave top advice for me looking at a second hand bike, helping me avoid a mess and picking up a dream bike!

So I brought into them for their free bike check service and thanks to Aaron for same day turnaround! Will be the first place to call on! So helpful and whilst a shame you can’t seem to call direct, it’s worth popping in!

Asked to fit new battery for my car, nob head turns around and says I’m not getting wet. After persuading him his hair won’t get ruined he told me it’s a “DNA” job in other words do not attempt. Went somewhere else where they weren’t afraid of the rain.

A very polite, cheerful and quick-working fitter replaced our indicator bulb for us in very rainy circumstances. A very satisfying experience of good customer service. Very reasonable price too.

Recently had a new turbo installed elsewhere and needed a service to validate the warranty. I decided to get the MOT up-sell for an additional £20 despite the car still having 3 months.

Halfords called shortly after dropping the car off to say it had failed the MOT due to emissions (caused from the new turbo) and therefore they couldn’t service the vehicle!
I was told that the Halfords garage didn’t want to do any work on the vehicle and to return it to Mazda.

I would advise anyone to save yourself the time and use a more reputable garage.

I have not shopped at Halfords for two years after some rather poor service in store. At that time I did not complete online reviewing. I vowed to never go back. However I needed a new cycle helmet and it's difficult to find a good comfortable fit online. That combined with a voucher I had to spend , which didn't have many cycle shops , to buy at , sent me back in . I was greeted straight away with a smile from the lovely assistant at the till point. Upstairs to the cycle helmets and within ten minutes I found the one I wanted. It has a floating kind of lining which is supposed to protect your brain from injury more than regular helmets are.
Anyway after two crashes recently i was converted . A fairly good choice , good range , because not all helmets are good for road cycling , and just what I was looking for. Same assistant on the till , and although I don't really want to discuss my life history with them , her chat was charming. Shame the Rustington branch was not as good .
