Booked in for a free steering and suspension check on Saturday for 10AM Sunday. Took my car in, to be told nobody was available to do it? A phone call would’ve been nice to inform me of that? The man on reception said he would re book me in for Wednesday morning, I said that I start work at 8AM and was told to drop my car off Tuesday evening, then told to ring them up Wednesday morning to remind them to do it!! Went in Wednesday after booking a day off work to do this, the lady on reception said “so this is for a FREE steering check, suspension check and diagnostic,” to which I said yes. After 10 minutes I realised that she said diagnostic, so I went back in and said I hadn’t booked for a diagnostic, the man from Sunday then said “we have to take it out on the road so that’s what it’s for” when I asked how much I’ll be getting charged for that, he said £50. I asked for my keys back and left. Why was I not told I’d be paying £50?! For no work to even be done just a “free” check!!! Do not book work in with these people, they’re crafty and don’t want to help you.

Thank you for the fantastic service I had at Halfords Wyvern Centre today. Kane did an amazing job fitting me a side bulb and back window wiper. First class service; friendly staff. Thank you to the lovely lady on the tills; sorry I did not get your name. Highly recommend. Thank you both again :)

Superb service when ordering a new electric bike. My e scooter recently broke down, and due to poor aftersales care from online scooter shops, I decided on a pedal assist bike from Halfords following watching several online reviews. Bike is due to arrive in store on Saturday and will be built and ready to ride home, very professional service, talked me through all the delivery and build options, and the aftercare services. Haven't even got the bike yet and already know Halfords will take good care of the whole process, can't fault them one bit. Very personal, friendly service in store, no pushy sales, plenty of time to think and discuss. Big shout out to Keiran who served us as well, really great guy. Thank you!.

I bought an inner tube for my bike at the Store in Derby (Sch700x18/28CP) last week and was charged £7.99. When looking on the web site the same item is offered for £4.52. I wonder why the difference.

What a star Neil was tonight! 15 minutes from closing and my headlight bulb blows, Neil was brilliant and fitted it in the howling wind with a torch for light! Great service for a lone female, felt safe and secure.

Waste of time. Bought bulbs for Mercedes slk 250 instore. The stores computer system advised bulbs and fitting is available then waited 20 minutes for fitting and was told the ONLY way to fit the front dipped beam was to take the wheel off!! Went to Halfords in Chilwell and they fitted straight away. It took 2 people at Derby to come up with an excuse not to fit the bulb - credit to Chilwell branch and will be going there in future. Total waste of time and lack of knowledge for Derby store!
