Had an old car in for rear shock bracket and front brake caliper and repeatedly asked for a price. Final price before he did the caliper ( I had to repeatedly go in over 8 days to check progress as no phone calls) and was given, "£260 or £270" as the final price. Just been in and they gave me the bill for £416. He even tried to say that it was my fault?! Honestly, I know it's difficult to find a good garage and as this is very local, I was hoping to build some relationship with these guys for ongoing family car maintenance, but I've left feeling completely ripped off. Car still swinging around dangerously at anything over 30mph. They did the same for the MOT too. Said £45 and charged me £95 for oil top up..which has nothing to do with the mot. Very disappointed. As for the other 5 star review..check her other reviews.

I've been using Ian and John for years, after they were recommended by a friend as being good, honest mechanics, who know their stuff . They are located in a unit on Langley Lane, Goosnargh in a rural location in a typical old school garage. You seldom arrive without seeing the pair of them tinkering under a car on ramps. These guys are the best. They are absolutely passionate about cars and do their best to make sure you get the best out of them in terms of performance, safety and longevity. Car repairs are expensive and I don't know how the dynamic duo fare compared to other operations but quite frankly, I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are personable, friendly and really decent guys who have been in the trade all their lives and who are always upbeat, friendly and strive to provide a personal service.

I recently moved to the area and needed a garage to replace the gearbox on my wife's 5 series. Had a chat with the guys first, they take the time to explain what is wrong and options. I will be using them from now on.

I met Ian today and he's a gentleman, very helpful.
I look forward to having my BMW repaired by him.
