A very friendly and efficient garage. Identified the problem with my BMW immediately and fixed it to a high standard,got the car back same day, for a very reasonable price. They even offered advice on maintaining my vehicle to prevent future costs and potential repairs in the future. I'll return in the future and can highly recommend them to any motorist looking for an honest garage.

October 2020 I got my annual service done at short notice as the dealership i got my car from had let me down. Can’t fault the speed and price.

2021 Helped me ‘on the spot’ after I drove round on a Saturday lunchtime as he was about to close and he fully checked out a new battery (I’d got from Halfords and had installed at Halfords) with diagnostics etc as it wasn’t holding charge. Explained every step of what he was doing and was extremely pleasantly surprised at the price he charged for 40 mins work and his helpfulness.

I’m quite shocked at some of the low reviews on here - they In no way reflect the person/owner I’ve had dealings with at all!!

Why isn't there a zero star option for this absolute farce of a mechanic. I was having trouble with my air inlet hose wich was causing lose of power. I taped up what I thought was the split and went to ask aske for his advice. He said bring it down tomorrow and I'll have a look. I phoned him the next day to see if he would inspect the problem and potential fix it. He said over the phone " you've taped it up" yes I have, "is the engine light on"? no, "then it's OK to drive". I know a little bit about cars and knew it wasn't safe to lose power on a motorway so I took it to another mechanic who gave the car a free inspection and found a huge split in the hose within 12 seconds of looking where it wasn't taped. In my opinion the mechanic at A & S Motors is a careless, reckless, rude, lazy man that is willing to put other people's life in danger. His appalling service and reckless actions will not go unreported to the appropriate authorities.

This guy is a real crook. He charged me an insane price. I started thinking probably I could have taken my car to Toyota dealer, they would have charged me less. I asked another garage how much he could have charged me for the work done on my car he quoted half price !!!! Avoid this place and I think the positive feedbacks he has ate fake ones
