Dunford's Garage - Vehicle Repairs Winchester

I bought a used van on condition they put a few things right ie new ignition key rear light lens change tyre and check tracking all done no probs excellent service and a great van

Have used Dunfords for service and repairs. They also helped me out when I had a flat - thoroughly recommend as a local mechanic. Chris

My DPF got clogged up and didn’t want to spend a fortune to replace it. Wayne acknowledged the urgency and booked me in the next working day and did everything to regenerate the filter. Great and fast service, friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

Fast service on a job and a van that no other mechanic wanted to touch. They kept me updated the whole way, let me know all the things that would need doing in the future, worked around my work schedule and my van/home is running smoother than ever! So so grateful, will definitely be going back :)

Website says open till 5.30. I rang m said I'd be there about 4.30 and I was 5 mins late but they were closed!

I have never written a review before but having seen the previous review by 'Artan' I felt I should, because my experience of using Dunford's was the complete opposite. I have always maintained my own car but when it needed a fair amount of welding to get through its MOT, that was well outside my area of competence. Having done some online research and read lots of reviews I settled upon Dunford's, and I couldn't be more satisfied.

My car is 19 years old and I was not at all surprised when Wayne said it would cost more to repair (£300) than the car was probably worth, he explained what would need doing and I chose to go ahead anyway. I cannot fault the service, I wish every business I deal with was like Dunford's; helpful, friendly, clear explanation, and they obviously take pride in their work and do the job properly.

I will certainly use them again for anything I cannot do myself.

For those that write poor reviews I scratch my head this 5th generation family garage has always been well respected by not only the surrounding villages but also those that come from further afield. If I knew sooner that Google did these reviews there would be another 4 or 5 great reviews from me for previous work on my other vehicles over the years. 5*’s all the way…
