I visited Hadham Motor Company on Monday 5th July 2011 for an MOT on my car.
The service I received was professional, very honest and quick. The cost of the MOT was very reasonable.
This was my first time using this garage and I would recommend this garage to any locals. I had no trouble getting in contact and booking my appointment. Michael who did the MOT on my car was very impartial and honest.
My car also passed which is a further plus point.

No waiting unlike other mot places iv been. Kept me informed about progress as he went round. Would highly recommend.

As a single (not over mechanically minded) female, it's often and probably easy for vehicle sales people to take the piss. I've had a bad run with vehicles; I've heard it all too "this will look after you", "you'll enjoy this" "it'll last you a lifetime". I've always had to constantly replace my vehicles due to some lies fed to me when I bought them: chemiweld in radiator, leaky engine, dodgy repairs etc etc.
And then I bought a van from HVS. When speaking to Tony on the phone he was honest, upfront and genuine. I arranged to view last minute (as is the way with me!) and he was prepared, friendly and honest about the vehicles he had available. Even on my limited budget he assured me about the mechanics of my new red van and even wrote a guarantee to come with it.
The day after my purchase I had issues with the battery, after over a week and 4000 miles across Europe this was probably as I hadn't locked it properly or something at my fault. Frustrated that I thought I'd been conned again I rang Tony immediately who explained to me that the van had switched on no issue the day before and instructed me to charge the battery and to buy a spare. I complied... I'm so glad I did - I've driven across Europe (to Norway) in my new van and it's truly amazing. I could only afford an older van to my limited budget so was worried about the economy but it's been so cheap and I credit that to it's good mechanics. Tony was and is the first dealer who's been 100% honest with me and I genuinely think he was upset to hear I'd had issues when I rang the next day. The fact he answered his phone on a saturday and took the time to calm me down and explain what needed to be done separates him further from other vehicle dealers.
I will be looking to upgrade my Van later in the year and I really hope I can purchase off Tony again. He was a 2hr30mins drive from where I was based but I'd happily drive 6hrs+ as I know the service I'll be receiving. Even if his vans are a little more expensive than others, he adds a guarantee to their engines which shows how much faith he has in his vehicles and ultimately shows his honesty.
Once again, thank you to Tony. So grateful to have had this experience and I'll certainly be returning myself.

I brought a mk6 Ford transit, from Tony, there was a slight fault, Tony was very professional through the whole process and the fault was repaired on time with no problems. This guy is a true professional and knows his stuff, highly recommended take my word for it. Not your typical trader, great van.

We (Special Branch tree surgeons) purchased a tree surgery ready Land Rover fairly recently, it's been an excellent investment. It's a work horse and performs just as advertised, we are very happy indeed. The man in charge is genuine and trustworthy, which are crucial traits when used motors are involved!

Really happy with the service provided by HVS Ltd. We went to purchase a van today and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. He provided a wifi code so we could arrange the insurance and arranged the tax for us. He also gave a discount to allow for an oil change. Very nice guy, thank you.

Really helpful service and had a good laugh. Have had the van a month with no issues. Tony sorted any problems before collection.
