Fantastic garage highly recommend to anyone, my clutch went yesterday afternoon they took my car straight in for me. Fitted a new clutch and serviced my car for me and I picked it up today! Can’t believe they sorted my car out for me so quickly. The owner is a brilliant guy he is so helpful and always happy, he is honest as the day is long. We have been using this garage for years and won’t go anywhere else, thank you so much for another great job done on my car! 😀

I really wish my experience had been better but it was a catalogue of parts not arriving, being wrong, possibly being lost, I don't know... they had the car for a week and when I did get it back they seem to have completed the works required, and stated unrequited work they had to undo. Communication is poor. If you need a quick service, you'll probably not have a problem.

Reliable and honest business. First garage that haven’t tried to rip me off because I’m a woman. Fair prices and quick and high quality service, but most importantly consistent! Will never take my car anywhere else.

STAY AWAY!! Do not believe all of these 5 star reviews, have a read through the 1 star reviews to understand the real Lynchford. Booked my car in for a full service as my engine light was coming on and off intermittently over a few weeks. A quick search on Google suggested that a service is most likely to sort this out (it was due one anyway). I took my car in and that day it turned out that the engine light was off again. I returned later in the day to pick up my car after the service at the time Derek told me. When I arrived he stated that my car won't start at all anymore and I should have warned him that I had an engine light on my dash. I found this hard to understand as I had just driven my car in earlier that day with no issue? I had no communication during the day that was an issue and I didn't need to come back in at the original time. After a wait I was told that he still doesn't know what the issue is, it could be a fuel pressure valve apparently. I returned 2 days later for Derek to tell me that my timing chain had jumped 2 teeth! I literally drove the car in? A week later I got my car back with issues fixed £400 later. I drove my car for 20 minutes before my engine suddenly overheated with smoke pouring out from the engine!! I immediately checked the coolant level to find it was completely empty! I phoned Derek to tell him and he stated I should top it up with water so I can drive it back to his garage. I waited for the engine to cool before putting some water in the coolant reservoir - the car failed to start. I phoned Derek back to let him know his advice had failed and that he should recover the car and fix the problem, which he agreed to. Once the car was recovered back to the service centre I got a phone call from Derek stating that I had a branch pierced through my radiator which caused the coolant to leak out. Derek then accused me of parking in a bush or running over a branch in the road. I obviously hadn't ever PARKED IN A BUSH and in a short 20 minute journey on main roads I knew I hadn't ran over a branch... Derek was in complete denial that his mechanics had forgotten to top up the coolant during the service and it was all my fault. They started repairing my car immediately and I had no chance to take my vehicle elsewhere as I had lost trust in their workmanship. They had to replace the radiator and grind the cylinder heads due to the overheating. This took them 2.5 weeks and I received no communication from them and had to phone each time for an update. Once completed I regrettably paid the £800+ invoice and was reassured that my car will be good for another 40-50k miles. 500 miles later the engine light is back on. This time I took my car to another garage for diagnosis with results showing the fuel system trim is too lean. They stated this was directly to do with the work completed by Lynchford. I took my car in to Lynchford to talk to Derek about this. He plugged my car in and 5 mins later said he had fixed the issue and I was all good to go. Fine, however, I took my car straight back to the other garage and asked them to plug in their computer diagnostics to check the issue was gone. IT WASN'T. Lynchford had deleted the issue off my system and claimed they had fixed it! Furiously I drove back to Lynchford to confront Derek about it and he seemed very shocked that I had returned so quickly. Now he was in complete denial that he had anything to do with the issue. "No we didn't touch it" "It's nothing to do with us" "Take it to Vauxhall, they'll tell you" - He was very aggressive with me and my girlfriend and was laughing in my face when I accused him of all his lies. Derek was constantly contradicting himself and after insisting he hadn't touched the area where the fuel system was later stated "We moved it to the side" "We took it out of the car", basically admitting he did touch this part of the car. Why would he claim he 'fixed' the issue if it's nothing to do with them? HE IS A LIAR AND CON MAN JUST ROBBING VULNERABLE PEOPLE, DO NOT FALL VICTIM OF THIS FRAUD.
