Tl;dr - if you want a professional job on a custom stainless exhaust, like V8 noises and want all your male friends to grin like children - then go see Matt now. 10/10 experience all round.

Extended version - The BMW 840 has always been super quiet for me, I know it's in character for the car and what it was designed for but you'd never know it was a v8. As my exhaust was starting to blow I needed to get a new one. I went to see Matt and discuss what was needed for a replacement. My specific requirements were muted snarl, absolutely no motorway drone or un-neighbour friendly noises when cold or going up hills. (shamefully having been part of the Subaru Impreza Dustin exhaust scene in a prior life I know of wot i speak)

Did Matt deliver? 100%. He was professional and friendly, gave me options and advice on the noise levels and tailpipes plus the workmanship is great. I would not hesitate to recommend.

The sound? Well again spot on for what I wanted delivered first time. At 70 and when cruising the noise is like a heartbeat. Not intrusive at all but it lets you know there is a V8 there. When you start it or rev then you start grinning - just a nice howl and that V noise.

Don't waste your time!

Called them looking for an exhaust section to be made, told to call in any time before 5. I visited later in the afternoon and told the guy I spoke to had gone out. So come back half hour later to be told he's in the toilet. The ten minutes I was waiting for him (hope he was having fun) to come out gave me the chance to read the disclaimers on the notice board, after all that I wouldn't ask them to fabricate a cup of tea!

What really confused me is that this is a company that makes custom exhausts, but only one guy knows how to bend a pipe. Absolute waste of time.

Had a full stainless exhaust system done on my GMC Suburban about 2 years ago, looking back was fantastic value for the quality and amount of work - full 2 into 1 system with muffler. It's holding up very well with zero issues. It's even still shiny, so they definitely use good steel. All the welds are top notch and it sounds great to boot. Would definitely recommend these guys if you need quality exhaust work.

Excellent service. I have a cat bypass pipe on my car that was blowin. You cant get them off the shelf and I couldn't find anyone to help me replace it. Longlife were recommended to me by my mechanic. I called up, made an appointment and they fabricated one for me within an hour. Very happy thanks.

Matt was able to fabricate a custom piece of exhaust on my civic to replace a poor job from another company. Very happy with the quality of the exhaust fabricated and at a really reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!

I had a cat back twin silencer Longlife exhaust fitted to my Honda as it was half the price of the OEM exhaust.
It needed nothing in those 9 years except for one fitting which was cheaply replaced last year.

I remember the service was great.

One thing to note - stainless exhausts are louder than plain steel. This is the only downside and relatively minor.

This was my second exhaust from this place, both only went because we needed a different car. I'll be back if we need another in the future.
