TMS St.Albans

One of the best garage experiences I have come across. Having lived in St Albans for 10 years and driving Minis I never knew these guys existed so I am grateful for the recommendation. Took my Mini there yesterday for a diagnostic test and Alex and his team were just so welcoming and friendly. The test was carried out efficiently and everything was sorted out there and then. A pleasant change from dealing with the larger garages who I always feel are uninterested whereas these guys clearly have a passion for cars and it shows. I would fully recommend TMS. My experience is that they are cheerful and helpful, professional and accommodating as well as expert and honest. They picked my Mini Cooper S up from my home and delivered it back to me – whilst in their care they updated me on the work that needed doing (as well as the work that could wait for another few months). When it was delivered back to me they had also cleaned the car inside and out. Great value from an honest outfit that I will always go back to as long as I own this car. Thanks.

These guys are awesome! I have a mini cooper D 2015 and they were simply great. They treat you amazingly, service with a smile. Care about your car and are happy to help, not to mention safe in these weird times... Great garage and will continue to use them in the future! Great find.

Took my mini here as it was making some rather odd noises (knocking and various other). I had been advised from another garage that the timing chain was to blame and was looking at a rather expensive repair. I called TMS for a timing chain quote and they were the best value of all the mini specialists in Hertfordshire. Not only that but when I took it in to get a second opinion they were honest and spent a lot of time and effort to properly diagnose the issue, even keeping hold of the car so they could try a cold start first thing in the morning. As it turned out it doesn't appear that the timing chain is the culprit and they have suggested another issue, which is also significantly less expensive. I suspect some garages would have gone ahead with the repair the car had been booked in for as the customer is always right, right? ! Anyway these guys took a great deal of time and care to ensure they were doing work that was needed. I have only recently purchased this mini having never had one before and all I can tell you is that it will be going to TMS for ALL it's future work, as I trust these guys 100% and that's not something most people can say about a garage. A massive thanks to all the team at TMS, you have my business for life. :-)

What a wonderful company to deal with. Used TMS for the first time to find an Oil Leak on my Mini Cooper S. They found the issue the same day I took it in to them, the owner communicated the issue and what would be required to fix it, he priced me right there and then and completed the work the next day. He invoiced the price quoted which included VAT and gave me good feedback on the car itself having had it in there care for two days. Great experience and honestly I wouldn't go anywhere else now. I put my Mini Countryman in to have some remedial work done that the main dealer had recommended. I felt I got really good advice, part of which was to not carry out some work. The rest of the work was carried out efficiently and cost far less than my quote from the dealer.
Will certainly be back.

My 11 year old Mini Cooper is now running the best since I've owned it. I have it serviced regularly, but the customer service and attention to detail at TMS was of a much better quality than at a Mini/BMW garage. Great job guys, I'll be using you for my next service without a doubt.
