Early in February this year, I came across (on the Internet) a lonesome-looking Mercedes-Benz S 350, which, however, looked to be in superb condition judging from the photo of it and exceptionally low mileage - given the fact that the car is now 13 years old and at a very, to say the least, reasonable sales price.

One quick phone call established the fact that the the car was still available and I was there the next day for a look and a test drive. The bodywork was in exemplary condition - virtually as good as new - apart from some minute stone chips, which I was told would be touched in, should I agree to purchase it. I agreed on the spot - after a test drive.

I understood that there could be issues with it - there was no service history, which was pointed out to me. However, to pass up owning such a fine-looking and a classic and rather iconic model of a Mercedes-Benz 3.7 litre engined limo, and at such a reasonable price, swayed the day for me. Plus the interior was just super.

In a nutshell...with Jamie Dicker's help and that of his team - with a very special thanks to his manager Mick..the car has now been lovingly restored to its former, glorious self - now complete with (for the first time in its history) a comprehensive service record/log now in the making.

Therefore...great after-sales service from IWADE Garage and all the team there and I wish Jamie good luck with his new auto-service centre and showroom business.

Visited garage on Thursday 11th. ,August 2016 around 1600. Asked if they could check the clutch of my Kia Sedona as I had been advised that it was on it's way out. Within 5 minutes one of the fitters took my car for a test drive, came back and checked the slave cylinder and confirmed my worst fears, I was leaving on holiday the following Saturday (towing a caravan). Gave me a price to fit a good quality clutch, also complete a oil & filter change, (which, as I had already called 2 other garages for quotes was around the same price) - explained my problem of leaving for holiday in 2 days time, they checked the schedule of works for the Friday, said they could re-arrange to fit my car in and did so. Said it would be ready late PM Friday. I did explain that I worked out of town and that I may not be able to get to them before they closed on the Friday afternoon - the answer - 'No worries, I live in the village, give me a call and I can come back to sort it' ---- cannot ask for a better service really can you??. Will deffinately recommend this garage to anyone who asks and will go back to them a quote for any further work in the future. many thanks for their great work.

1.Invalidated my new turbo warranty
2.Failed to change oil and filter as required
3.Failed to prime turbo with new oil
4.Failed to install new gaskets supplied with turbo
5. Failed to flush turbo pipes
6. Failed to tighten oil return at both ends, causing turbo to leak oil and starve new bearings of oil
7. Failed to tighten oil feed at one end
8. Failed to tighten both bolts of lower turbo bracket. Not even hand tight so could fall out any any time.
9. Failed to fit manufacturer clamp to turbo pipe and instead left it part way up pipe and used jubilee clip instead
10. Failed to fit spring clip to vacuum hose risking it coming off
11. Failed to tighten 3 bolts on under tray leaving them loose and able to fall out.
12. Left broken oil pressure sensor in engine bay, causing concern of an initially unidentified part.
13. Took 4 days to complete a job quoted at 3 hours as did not notify me they would be closed at weekend.
14. Also failed to re install exhaust bolts bt cat converter, meaning exhaust was left loose wobbling around. Had to buy new bolts and install them myself

Felt ripped off with hidden charges. They need to be more open and informative with their pricing.
