Great old fashioned garage.

Broke down whilst on holiday, so in an unfamiliar area I had to rely on a Google search and luck. I always use VW specialists for my V6 4motion and, luckily, I punted for this. At John Bowles, I received from Graham and his team polite, swift and knowledgeable service - car back on the road within 24 hours with good communication throughout.

Rang them to say I suspected a slight coolant leak. They said to bring the car in straight away. They pressure-tested it and topped it up - and charged me nothing at all. I'll keep an eye on it and if there is still a problem I shall be back to see them.

Amazing garage. Two other local garages had tried and failed over the space of a month to diagnose an issue with my car, and within an hour Graham and the guys had found the issue and fixed it! The only place to go for Audi and VW work.

Recently took my car in, sure of a fault. Asked for coil springs to be changed. They phoned up a few hours later and told me that the car didn't have a fault and advised against a coil spring change. No charge. This typifies my experience of this place over the years - honest and knowledgable.
