My BMW had a problem with the steering feeling loose. JP Garage said they had diagnosed the problem as the front bushes that needed replacing and that it would be £240 +VAT. When I picked the car up they had replaced the rear shock absorbers as well for additional £240 + VAT which I hadn’t authorised so double the cost.
Unfortunately, despite a bill of almost £600 their work hadn’t fixed the problem. I took it to another garage and they identified the problem as large movement in the rear bushes. Replacing the rear bushes fixed the problem and it now drives as it should. JP Garage must have realised this as they tried to remedy the problem by replacing the rear shock absorbers. The other garage also noticed that JP Garage had put grease on the bushes that they had installed. As most people know but not JP Garage, you should avoid contact with grease/oil products on rubber bushes as it causes the rubber to break down prematurely. When the front bushes need replacing I won’t be taking the car to JP Garage.

JP garage is a trustwworthy local independant garage specialising in German cars. I have been using them for the past 10 years and never had a problem, I trust them with any job from normal MOT and servicing work to more complex jobs like head gasket, cambelt or clutch changes and adjusting the valves on BMW M models. Cars they have fixed for me include Smart cars, Audi TT, BMW M models (M3, M5) BMW 335i, Porsche 944, Golf Gti Mk5. Always had good service and their pricing seems very reasonable compared with other garages in the area.

JP garage have looked after my various cars for over 30 years and I can't imagine ever finding a kinder, more reliable, efficient and honest team to do it. They have given me such help and peace of mind for years. That is priceless and I recommend them 100%.

Have used J&P for years for all the families vehicles. They are knowledgeable, efficient and completely trustworthy. Their customer service is excellent too.

My comment is 100% honest!! JP Garage have been looking after my car since 2015 and at first its team seemed like nice and reliable, until the moment they failed to fix my rear suspension and air-con advising that it's OK to drive it with such fault and even go through MOT, for two years. The owner instructed me to switch the air-con off and drive the car with open windows in +32C for 3 summers. They let me down like no one did. They also tried to fool my friend years ago, who I did not listen to. Well... never stop learning. If they come back to me and do what they should do then I might reconsider. But I doubt they will...
