Unprofessional service and you will hear excuses for relatively easy pieces of work. I lost one whole day waiting for them to sort out an easy job. In the end I decided to take my car to a decent professional place to solve the problem. Either they don't know what they are talking about or they just find ways to take your money. Avoid if possible. I ended up paying for the diagnosis but could have been much worst.

The service from start to finish from the first telephone call to the amazing customer service received when dropping of the vehicle to picking it up was the best in this area. I have used most garages in the surbiton, Kingston , Tolworth area and I won’t be going anywhere else in the future. FJD autos knew how to get the vehicle fixed quickly and effectively. This really is the best service I have ever received in any London garage . Choose FJD for your auto issues. I have been using FJD's services for thirty years and have always found them reliable, efficient and reasonably priced. They pick up and return my car for regular servicing, MOT and repairs, and take care of it without fuss or bother. Their employees are unfailingly courteous and heplful. Fred is straight and upfront about likely repair costs, and although these are sometimes high, I doubt you would find them cheaper anywhere else. I have recommended FJD to a number of my friends who all have told me that they have never received such good service at such a reasonable price anywhere else. I suspect that the people who have given one star reviews here do not have much experience of different garages or a realistic appreciation of the costs of car maintenance. Fred and his team at FJD are extremely able mechanics who offer excellent value for money. Don't just take my word for it - try them for yourself and make your own judgement.

Thought I’d give my custom to a local small business. They’re appalling. Complete lack of customer interest. Place is full of broken parts and filthy.

Fred and his team have always given us excellent service looking after the cars in our family over the last 30 years.
Friendly, prompt, professional, caring and really good value.
Last week, they excelled themselves and were outstanding when the car died (not jump-start possible, and automatic trans=mission locked in the middle of a busy road).
Fred arranged two of his team to attend in less than 10 minutes, they took the car away and returned it home the same day. Outstanding and a massive thank you appreciation. You excel every time, and this was another level. Well done.

Water pump went on Boxing Day. Needed to get home (300 miles away) the next day. Phoned a few garages, no-one open but the boss at FJD rang me back. Got me in at 8.00 next morning, part ordered and fitted and I was on the road by 2.00pm. Great service and a fair price. Thanks fellas, you saved the day.

They started off treating me fairly but having been with them for aporoximateky 25 years as a regular customer they would do the work I needed regularly, although I could never be sure they'd done everything I paid for. They started charging VAT on top of everything. It's not necessary to pass VAT on to customers and it has become a rip off on labour charges. I feel they've taken advantage of my lack of expertise, rather than treating me as a valued customer. They did once come to give me a jump start and didn't charge but I've had it with them now and found a more reliable, fairly priced mechanic. I would not recommend.
