Just wanted to say a huge thanks for the great customer service and the efforts of the Smiths Of Alvechurch team. Over the last week they managed to sort out a problem on the car that other local garages weren't interested in. The car is running great and I will be using them again for all my car maintenance needs going forward. Great job guys! Many thanks.

Highly recommended to anyone seeking an honest and trustworthy car garage/mechanic. Reliable, friendly staff, competitive prices and, most importantly, they provide a true report of what 'needs' to be done on your car (paid £240 for work I actually needed rather than £850 quoted by a rooky garage in Surrey to replace things that didn't need it, saving over £600!). There are so many con artists out there but Smiths of Alvechurch is not one. I drove 110 miles to take my car to someone I trusted and it was well worth it! I intend to take my car here for all services and MOTS in the future. Thanks Gerald for such great service!

Great service. Friendly, helpful & totally trustworthy guys. There's not many Garages nowadays I can say that about! Used by myself (Engineer) & my Wife for a couple of years now & never had any problems & drive away happy every time.

I have asked Gez and the lads, two years in a row now, to do the MOT on my car. Both times, the service has been quick and fairly priced, and I have been given a courtesy car free of charge, while they carried out the necessary work. How they have managed to keep a 1995 Nissan Micra running so well, is nothing short of a miracle. I won’t use any other garage future, even when I finally make an upgrade. Customer for life. Warning light came on driving back to London so we pulled in to the nearest garage. The lads at Smiths were so helpful, took a look at the car with the computer and reset it straight away. Got a great bit of advice about avoiding supermarket fuel too! Great service and a really nice bunch of guys!

Firstly I am writing on behalf of a friend who does not use the computer.
Issues with Gez and the vehicle are numerous, he dragged the whole thing out until the warranty expired. Constantly went back with the same problem & he kept fobbing me off, telling me he couldn’t find a problem, until the warranty expired. So far it has cost me over £1,000 to have fixed at a professional garage. Would never recommend Smiths of Alvechurch. Avoid at all costs! Bad attitude & behaviour.

23rd April 2022. A YEAR since I posted my review & they reply. The vehicle in question was a VW Van, but due to his threatening behaviour when approached several times with the vehicles problems, we are unwilling to provide further information

Absolutely amazing experience with these guys. Half way into a 4 hour drive I had to pull off the motorway for a wheel bearing. With nowhere to go I called smiths of alvenchurch and they made room for my car and got me back on the road within a few hours. I was even greeted with mince pies and pot noodles!

Great garage, always on hand to help with issues. We use this garage for our business van and can’t fault any of the service, always ready to fix issues, knowledgeable and helpful 👍🏼 Cant recommend enough
