I phoned Tom based on a word of mouth recommendation about a vague undiagnosed problem with my vehicle starting which had no easy solution. Tom said I could drop it off that day and he'd get started the following day.

I work full time and so it was organised to work around that, I actually didn't meet anyone until after the job was done. The problem was not simple and took a week in total with diagnostic tests etc.

Tom called me everyday to give me an update.

Long story short, he sorted the issue, and when the bill was presented to me I was relieved. It was very very reasonable.

In the current cost of living crisis we are all worried that our cars breaking down could ruin us, and finding a garage that won't rip you off is a nightmare.

This is the place go here, you won't regret it!

Found Mowbray Motors through Google and booked my car in based on reviews. Very happy with the service, quick turnaround and the lovely guys helped where Halfords couldn't. Would definitely recommend, will be back if any issues arise in the future!

I took my vauxhall to Mowbray garage, for a very small issue 2 days after ANNUAL SERVICE from Advance Motors in Watford. Issue- tyre pressure not correct level and reset not done. Tom, at Mowbray motors with kindness looked and sorted the “pending” issue in 3 minutes. Brilliant customer service. Thank you TOM!

My second year of using this excellent, friendly, helpful garage. Both services ( on my Golf) and MOT were carried out promptly and being able to deal with this local garage makes me feel good! Can thoroughly recommend.

I had an MOT at Mowbray a few years ago when I was new to the area. Service was mostly okay, but they did attempt to overcharge me for parts, which I subsequently supplied myself at a much lower cost. It’s a shame because I’d like to support a local garage but have not used them since and travel much further for car servicing instead.
