Crane Bank Garages Ltd

I've used Crane Bank since I got my first car at 17 (now 53!) apart from a few gaps with company cars they have always been my first choice garage. Just had an MOT done and everything was handled perfectly. They are the nicest most polite people to deal with who call you when they say they will and get the job done. Service that hasn't changed from good old-fashioned service in the 36 years I've been a customer.

Farewell to George Jeep
Today I have said farewell to George Jeep 😢(Grand Cherokee) after 18 years of motoring. A tearful and sad moment. For the past 12+ years George was kept on the road by the fabulous Crane Bank Garage (Chester) team. Dan, Sarah and the amazing mechanic and technician team did everything possible to keep me motoring safely. I was always given a clear explanation of the problem and what was needed to fix it, how long it would take and how much. I want to thank Crane Bank (Chester) for all their support and much needed guidance. I know where to come if I have problems with my next vehicle. Stay safe and and continue to shine. 😘

Had poor experiences recently with garages in and around Chester. Took note of Google reviews and rang Crane Bank who were very professional, polite, courteous and helpful.
They gave me a FREE assessment of a problem I had identified while driving. (Another garage was asking for a £100 upfront just to do the same assessment!! ARGH!!)
They examined my vehicle and said what was needed. I made the booking and the job was sorted swiftly, professionally and properly. Expertly handled, at all stages.
After which, I was contacted via email by one of the company's directors who had taken the trouble to get in touch and ask if I was happy with the service provided and did I have any worries. How remarkable is that??!! Definitely a first!
I honestly can't recommend. Crane Bank highly enough. Very, very professional and deeply caring about how they serve their customers and how their customers perceive the company.
I will most certainly use them again for my cars' MOTs, servicing, and repairs. A superb company in what can be a very fraught business finding a garage that can do what you need at a price that is right and provide total professional certainty.

I used Crane garages for a routine service and Mot. They were clear about what they were doing and informed me in advance of the cost. Car was ready on time and I was informed of future work for next year. Car arrived back cleaned and all work complete. I have changed to them from the VW main dealer.

My Rover 75 would not start, but with a replacement starter motor was back on the road the following day !
Crane Bank have looked after the car for many years and it runs fine , still 50+ mpg!

They are absolutely thorough professionals. Fixed the annoying sound in my car which other garages weren't able to spot it. Excellent customer service! Will definitely use them in the future and would highly recommend anyone for their car services or repairs! Highly impressed!
