Brilliant experience and car sorted rapidly. Greg came out and coded my keys on site after Vindis said this isn’t possible. He fixed the issue quickly, customer service was good (they were in time and responded to the issue within a couple of days) and saved me a lot of money in comparison to what Vindis were trying to charge.

My 1992 Golf3 broke down in Cambridge. The clutch cable retaining clip had fallen off so I wasn't able to change gears.
I contacted a recovery service which eventually transported me and the vehicle to German Tech Cars.
Greg informed me that the part was still available and that the repair would most likely be finished the following day.
I was very sceptical about that, however at approx. 8.30 am on the following day, I received a phone call informing me that the repair was complete and I could pick up the car.
Not only that, they also fixed a problem with the driver door occasionally not closing, at no extra charge.
Brilliant service - I'd give it 6 six stars if possible.

Don’t know where to start so I will make it short (I could write a book in here)… This garage is great. I’ve been using their services for a while now and I was always happy with the services they provided. These guys know what they are doing. Even before they plug the scanner they will often tell you what is wrong with you car! With them you only replace the part that needs to be replaced, if they can fix your part, they will. They are proper mechanics, not fitters. Greg and his team are like magicians! All the best guys, keep up good work!

Fantastic service. First time visit to a car mechanic (nervous). They were kind, friendly, helpful, made time for me on the same day as my call. Fixed problem straightaway. Nice waiting room.

I’ve had two repairs done here, one for my boot hinge which had sheared away and the other to fix a dead alternator. Both times Steve found the cheapest way to do a reliable fix and had it sorted quickly. This is definitely my go-to garage in Cambridge for my Audi now.

The one star reviews seem to follow a pattern of a similar, extremely unlikely bizarre story, all from accounts with no other activity. I’d ignore them and pay attention to reviews from more active accounts - same applies to any site with online reviews.

I cannot review Steve and all those at German Tech cars better. The quality of service is far greater than any main dealer. There prices are reasonable and customer care 2nd to none. Very knowledgeable and great advice. I will definitely be a regular customer.

Steve and his team have looked after our cars for the last two years. My only regret is not having found them earlier. Easy to book an appointment, great service, nothing is a problem. Highly recommended.
