Cheaper to head to the main dealer. Very bad experience here!! Always get a quote incuding fitting in writing. The one star rating is for the decent and honest Gemma who works in the office. Took a ten year old ford focus (owned by myself for those ten years!) in for a suspension arm, quoted £120 FITTED by Gemma, quoted when booked in, all good. Whilst in the garage was called by Simon to say they couldn't open the bonnet, advised to have a repair kit fitted, bonnet catch a common problem on this model, opened the day before by ourselves no problem, went back to the garage to open it for them, as the car was jacked up it wouldn't open! Reluctant to spend unnecessarily on a ten year old car I asked Simon for a price FITTED as one usually does, Simon quoted £48.75 plus VAT fitted. On collection it turns out that price wasn't fitted. An extra £45.00 per hour labour plus VAT was added on to the bill! When I said I wasn't happy had a very unpleasant exchange with Mechanic Simon, paid the £240 bill cash and had to ask three times for my change so I could leave the building as he wouldnt shut up arguing. I chose this garage because of the positive online reviews, when I said I wouldn't leave a positive review Simon replied "if I left a negative review he would be in touch" threat??

I've had all my cars serviced & MOT'd here since I moved to the area 9 years ago. I relied on the customer reviews to go there & 9 years later I'm consistently delighted with the honesty and integrity of the service I receive, the quality of the work and the value for money. They have frequently gone the extra mile to help me out.

I asked for a quote to change the starter motor. Where other places either didn't get back to me or were giving me the spiel about it maybe not being the problem, Simon took my number and said he'd let me know. 5 minutes later he called back with what I knew to be a fair quote and a date for a week later he could do the job. Turned up on the day, three hours later called me to say the job was done and for £1.50 less than the quoted price. Car now starts like a dream. Can't recommend highly enough.

Very prompt service and staff polite and would return . Would recommend. Only issue is have to leave car on road nearby due to small parking area.

Went in for an MOT and after failing, was given sensible, no-nonsense advice. Reasonably priced too. Parents have been coming for years and I see why. Highly recommended, trustworthy service.
