I took my van to be repaired and after receiving a quote of around £1600 for repairs they kept my van for over 3 weeks.
Within driving the van less than 100miles it broke down so I took the van back and I was told they now new what the problem was and said if fixed it would be a good. Ultimately they said it would be all sorted after this as the van was in good order but the decision was up to me. I asked how much and was told a further £2500 this later rose a further £200.approx
As the van was not that old I decided to pay the cost and the van only lasted for 3 more months.
They are supposed to be the professionals and that is debatable in my opinion but I feel I should of been better advised. The decent thing to do. I think the best businesses are built on repeat custom they will never have mine again.
Also the receptionist was like a pit bull chewing a wasp. She was so rude.
A truly terrible service all round I would even go as far as to say complete sharlertons.

It should be noted my van was done about 2 years ago but I was just on Google and there business came up and I remembered I had not reviewed them so I thought I owed them this review so they can try to improve the mistakes. Not likely though especially with a receptionist like that so rude

What can I say....I have been a customer here for a few years now and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Great mechanics, extremely helpful and friendly staff and they always look after their customers. I even get a text to remind me of my MOT.

Haven't had much work done here, but the MOT ran very smoothly. No issues, or lack of communication. Car was in and out within 2 hours. Cheaper when booking online.

Have used this garage for all our car servicing and repairs etc, including bodywork repairs. Have always been completely satisfied with all work carried out. All staff are so knowledgeable and friendly too. Would definitely recommend Streat Motors to everyone.

Very professional and courteous. I won't hesitate to use them again. Been here twice. Both times I noticed they're on first names terms with some customers which made me think they've a lot of repeat business.

Small friendly garage, family run. Was dealt with politely and as quickly as they could I felt. Shame expensive part for car but not their fault-naughty car!! Would definitely recommend this garage.

Great service, and good old fashioned garage. They’re great at talking through what the issues are and why they’re doing stuff, and just keen on getting the job done cheaply
