I have used smithy garage a couple of times now for my work van. Each time polite & friendly staff, no fuss, quick turn around and a good job done. There is not many garages you come across these days that you can have confidence in or recommend but im happy to recommend Smithy Garage.

Very friendly and helpful. Investigate and diagnose an issue rather than just fitting and charging you for random parts in the hope it fixes the issue. Not the cheapest but on this occasion you get what you pay for. Even fixed my fuel cap for me to help save me the cost of buying another. Highly recommend

Would like to say thanks for spending 2 minutes to look at my car this morning (front brake). Unfortunately can't use the garage due to childcare (can't walk kids 10 miles home !) However hope that you may get some more trade from good reviews.

This garage has looked after my cars for the last 5 years. I phoned to book an MOT test and was given a suitable date and time - but when I arrived for that appointment, the man I originally spoke to hadn't written it in the diary, so they weren't expecting me. They did squeeze me in, but it took 3 visits to get my car back and instead of apologising for their error they suggested that I had made the appointment with a different garage. So much for the customer being right!

Great, prompt and efficient service with very clear explanations of what was required and why. Fair prices too.
