This is exactly where egosa autos is.... Brought a car here and upon getting home discovered it had a fault solenoid in the driver's side door, wasn't noticed when buying as it's keyless entry and remained unlocked whislt viewing and test drive and makes unlocking mechanism sound so appeared to all work.

Next issue, next time it rains, I notice a rainbow pool under the car after I park, take it to a garage and turns out it has a leak where the fuel tank has been butchered whilst replacing a fuel sender unit inside it (would have been known to garage) fuel tank needed replacing as all threads had been mangled.

Had a puncture (no fault of garage) but when they fit the new Tyre they discover break calipers (I think it was calipers but could be mistaken) are on the wrong way round and , given that it wouldn't pass its mot like this they check that for me, sure enough, it passed from the garage 2 months previously but mysteriously failed 2 months before that and had another 1k miles on the clock by the time it passed

Long story short, I'm now a further 500 quid down due to repairs.

Would not recommend this place.

Have used S&G several times in the last 3 months and had amazing service at a great price. They are honest and reliable and have got me out of a few tricky situations.

- BMW Full Service and MOT, collected from my home GREAT Customer Service

- Repair of a faulty indicator relay on our Hyundai Coupe (tricky part to find) sorted within 24 hours

- Help at the roadside to replace a 12 year old battery and resolve an imobilser fault from battery failing. They recovered car and it was back at my house fully repaired within an hour which was almost quicker than I got home myself.

- Final time was today when I had a bump and caused damage to to a Hire Van. Looked like I was gonna have to pay the £500 insurance excess but popped by for advice and left a few hours later fully repaired with original parts installed and a perfect repair saving me £400.

Fantastic family run business. Mechanics have great experience, knowledge and are really friendly. They will explain things in Lehman's terms for anyone who doesn't have great knowledge on vehicle mechanics. S&G Auto Care will ensure your work is completed professionally. Outstanding workmanship and completely trustworthy. I will definitely use them again and will be recommending all my friends and family to them

Have been using Gary and Shawn for several years now. These are the most genuine mechanics you will ever come across and very fair rates too. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing you soon.

Absolutely brilliant help with my van today. Brought out diagnostic equipment to establish the fault. Lots of really honest and helpful advice. And they wouldn’t even let me pay them for their time! Very rare nowadays. Highly recommend.

Thanks S&G Motors for finding the impossible problem well done. Fixed an on going issue on my Nissan Qashqai that was driving me mad for ages. Two other garages looked at it and couldn’t find the fault, but S&G were able to. Great service and very friendly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sean and Gary of S&G Auto Care use to be good. They failed to repair a serious engine fault and when the vehicle was sent to them to rectify the problem again, they got very angry. I was on crutches and had left my wallet and phone at home, so asked them if they could drop me off. They refused and I had to walk three miles back home on crutches.
Several days later I returned from hospital to find my vehicle was left stranded near my property, parked on the pavement and on a sharp corner causing an obstruction. They had taken the keys and have failed to return them. I have now started legal proceedings against them.
Myself, my family and neighbors will go elsewhere.

Sean and Gary are total gents. They have looked after mine, my daughters and my sister's vehicles over the years. Nothing is too much trouble for them in working around customers needs and I'll never look for anyone else. With my daughter's car, when they checked it before putting it for an MoT they discovered rusted area that had been covered up by previous owner, they gave me a quote for the welding and kept to the quote even after discovering it needed even more.
