CP Motors

I would recommend this garage all day long! Fantastic one to one service. I took my Volvo V60 in with an unusual rare fault and was due to drive it to Switzerland within a matter of days. A previous garage had done in depth checks to no avail. CP Motors were able at short notice to help me save my family's holiday. They found a broken cable within the wiring loom, a difficult intermittent fault for any garage to sort out. CP Motors with all there Volvo experience managed to sort it out. I could not of wished for a better outcome. Brilliant place if your want you car looking after properly. Note - Very family orientated company and will treat you like a relative ;-)

I took my car to CP Motors for a full service and came away with a few advisories. They told me my battery had 'failed' it's test and I would need a new one. I decided to take my car to another garage a few days later who offered free battery tests. They gave me a print out to confirm my battery was good and did not need to be replaced. I would not take my car to CP Motors again as I simply wouldn't trust what they tell me.

I woul like to ‘thank’ CP Motors as due to their poor quality work, for which I paid for in full, I ended up losing extra £5000. When they finished their work on my car and it was my turn to pay, it was all smiles and politeness from their side, however, when something went wrong and they should take responsibility, all I got was ignored.

I was their customer for 10 years and therefore I would like to warn everyone not to trust in the logos on the doors of this garage as you can’t ‘Trust your garage’ since they may not be ‘Volvo specialists’ after all. Never again.

We have been taking our cars to CP motors for over 10 years and always had excellent service. The prices for service and repairs have been reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend CP motors to anyone.

Just got my car mot’d there today. It’s a 1990 Lancia Delta Integrale, so things happen!
Got to say a big thanks to Tim who works on the car for me when work needed, & it’s shown he knows what he’s doing as went through with no issues.
If you have something new or old, or a bit different, CP Motors really have the time & knowledge to help you.
Definitely recommend, & they have a very nice old chocolate brown sofa, you can sit on & have a brew on while you wait!!!

C P Motors is a fantastic, family-run business. You get a warm welcome every time you visit and the staff are both highly knowledgeable and professional. I've been using them for years and have nothing but good things to report. Would give more than five stars if I was able to!

I have only had my Volvo a few months but it used to be the courtesy car for this garage. I thought it would be good to take it there for the MOT and other work and booked it in three weeks in advance. I was told to come back in an hour and a half, they had done the MOT which was a fail, but they would not do the work for the MOT pass as I had not booked this. Pretty difficult to do this as I didn't know what it would fail on! Since the two faults I expected to get fixed did not need attention after all, and I thought it was booked for the day I expected them to do whatever was necessary for the MOT. Apparently this isn't possible because of Covid (?) so they expected me to either leave it there for the rest of the week or drive it away with a fail. They didn't phone me to tell me this, but waited until I got back an hour and a half later and then kept me waiting for another 30 minutes before speaking to me. If they had phoned me straight away like most normal garages then they would probably have been able to get the parts that day. I can't comment on prices and didn't pay for the MOT as I was told to leave as soon as I said I wanted the work done all at once and on the same day. The receptionist needs a refresher course in customer care.

CP motors are amazing, a wonderful family run business. Very trust worthy with excellent service. Have been using them for years and will continue to do so. Thanks so much for all their hard work and dedication.
