Tim Revetts Prestige And Performance

One of the best decisions I ever made. Tim Revetts 'does what it says on the tin'. I am 84 yr old ex- professional engineer with cancer. My beloved Jaguar XF Sportbrake, which I have had since it was 2 years old, had an intermittent air bag fault light. Told it was a Main Dealer job. Had bad experiences with main dealers, desperate to avoid, eventually found Tim Revetts on line. Could not visit as 'Shielding' so had to go by reviews. Looked good so booked car in, inc free collect and return.
Diagnostics, investigate, fault find and test (how professional), quote for repairs when certain of facts.
Problem was faulty installation of dash cam by well known national retailer - damaged £1k electronics smart unit. Total cost probably half Main Dealer would have charged! So delighted, thank you Graham and Robert. Will go back for as long as I may live.

These people had my car three days just to sort a software issue with the steering wheel electric adjustment controls
They charged me £500 just to reset the software!!!
Absolute rip off…. Three days because they didn’t know what they were doing!
Never use again….. Bring back Tim Revett out of retirement , he was genuine.

You changed a fuse for £540!
I did not remove or refit any parts
All you did was actually get the steering wheel rake/ in/ out adjustment to work again… so the fuse you replaced and a bit of software updating you carried out ( plugging a laptop in and leaving it to download) took three days and all that cost???
You can’t pull the wool over everyone’s eyes!!

Friendly and honest people. Quite knowledgeable about Land Rovers, i would definitely use them again and recommend to others too. they fixed the car problem we had for years, happy that the car came back all clean

This place is a This place is a hidden gem. I had a major oil leak in my Jaguar F-Type which needed immediate attention. The team took care of the leak and carried out some major engine repairs in the process to help prolong the vehicle life. This company in particular has been an absolute star and on multiple occasions has not only corrected any issues that have come up, but also gone over and above to ensure that the car is working as its best. Very professional and technical mechanics. I can't speak more highly of them. They will be my go-to guys for many years to come that's for sure! Thanks all at Tim Revetts

When I took my vehicle for a service they noticed it was due an MOT and arranged and took it within the same day my vehicle was in.

Jaguar main dealer wouldn't do anything for a month. Tim recognised what the issue was ordered the parts for a next day repair. Job completed professionally as ever. Great service great value.

This was the first time I have used Tim Revetts and I can not be more pleased. Having a bit of a tricky electrical problem with my Jaguar XF, these guys found the fault and fixed the issue. Everything was explained to me from parts needed to cost before any work was carried out. What I was really impressed with was after getting my car back, the electrical gremlins that live in my car showed another issue which was kind of linked but not there fault. These guys took my car back in, worked on it all day and didn’t charge me. Unbelievable service. They seem to be one of the last few garages that care more about customers and relations than making a quick buck.
Really can not recommend them enough and will certainly only be using them from now on.

Took my S Type Jaguar to Tim Revetts for a cambelt change. They were very helpful on fitting me in quickly to do the work. When I collected the car the next day on the drive home unfortunately I got some warning lights on and restricted performance, obviously my first though was that they had done something wrong so I called them. Very impressed when they called me back to say someone would come out to me in the morning to check the car over ( it’s a 1 1/2 hour round trip ! ) Turned out ultimately to be a bad battery and nothing they had done whatsoever. I don’t think many garages would do that, they would expect you to return the car but I really think this is great service so well done to Tim Revetts in particular Abid Ali for even offering to collect the car from me to take it in to fix if needed. Great service, thank you !
