Brilliant service, lovely approachable receptionist, and value for money! will definitely be using them again for any future work. My faith has been restored after many disappointments from other garages. :-)

Fantastic service by all members of staff I dealt with at Beacon Street Garage. They were quick to look at and fix my car and ordered a part as soon as I took it in to be looked at to ensure they could fix it as quickly as possible. I will be using this garage from now on as opposed to the Audi dealership in Tamworth where the Customer Service was disgusting.

Absolutely fantastic service provided by not only the lovely receptionists, but also the guys in the back! I had a dented and heavily scratched bumper/wheel arch following an encounter with a fence, but now you wouldnt even be able to tell the difference. I was quoted a fraction of the price to what other local garages had given me. Overall, I received amazing work for an excellent price! I would recommend this garage to anyone.

The service that I have received at this garage has been amazing. All the team are dedicated and do everything they can to help. My car would not start - they came out immediately. Well done to them

Great service, car comes back washed too. Reasonable prices and you can open an account to pay in so much a month so you haven't got a big bill at the end. And £10 off MOT if you join.

I took my car here when I lived in lichfield, but haven't been for a few years. Went back this week to have some body work done and pleased to say nothing has changed. Great service, lovely people and an excellent job. Would highly recommend for body work and mechanical.

I have used this garage a couple of times and today I was blown away. Not only did they fit me in when already fully booked they looked at my car and found the source of the oil leak within minutes.

The repair is very reasonably priced. I will be back for all of my car needs!

My experience of Beacon Street garage will be one I remember but for all the wrong reasons.

- rude
- completely misdiagnosed my car
- unprofessional

For details please read below;

I chose to go with this garage because of the 5 Star rating and the great reviews, the lady seemed friendly too during the initial booking. I was rather reluctant this being my first time going to a garage as a new driver and in a new area.

I was told there will be a charge £27 charge just to look at the car which my dad said was very unusual, just examine the car. However because of the reviews I was willing to pay this charge. This was to determine where the oil leek was coming from.

When the garage called to let me know the diagnosis, I asked the lady if she could repeat what was wrong with the vehicle, so I could write it down. Her reply was " what is the point if you're going to take it else where", "I replied my dad asked me to call him back after" , reluctantly and abruptly the lad did tell me what was wrong. My Dad had in fact asked me to, (its a dad thing even if I am 25 years old and have moved out, he wants to know). Not that I, the customer, should have to justify myself. I'm new to the area, and as we all know in the garage industry it fair game, you are a customer looking for the best job a reasonable price, especially given the current climate.

Despite her rude abrupt behaviour, I still asked for a quote and was given an estimate, which was over £700.00 to replace 4 seals and change the clutch. My cream steering wheel was also left filthy.

Disheartened I took to car to another garage my dad has been going to for 15 years over a hour away where my parents live, to get a second opinion free of charge.

This mechanic said my clutch is in perfect working order and there was no need what so ever for this to be replaced. I do have an oil leek which we already knew but he said it was that dirty under the car it was impossible determine where the leek is coming from. It needs hosing down and putting on the ramp and can then clearly determine where the leek is situated, he further commented "some of these garages look for anything and if you are none the wiser you do pay it. It would seem they have said all seals need replacing to cover all basis rather than pin pointing the issue ".

I think that's quite sad.

I don't usually do reviews but I felt very compelled to in this occasion as I would not want some else to injure the same experience I did.
