I was able to book my daughters car in within a week. It only took them 2 days to find the problem being a gearbox bearing. While the car was there they checked the clutch and was able to also replace. Great service (they send you pictures of the work) and the price is much cheaper than main dealer. Really pleased, hence the 5 stars.

Amazing service throughout!! Had my car checked over by a garage after losing first gear. Was told it was the synchro mesh and would need a brand new gearbox. Took it to South West Transmissions and they rebuilt the gearbox that was originally on the car and replaced the clutch at the same time. This way I didn’t have to waste any time looking for a 2nd hand one and to get that fitted as a brand new one was just far too expensive (manual gearbox). Took the car in on a Tuesday and they said they should be able to get me back on the road by the weekend. I picked the car up on the Friday. The car is now running really smooth and came with a 12 month guarantee also. Really couldn’t ask for more from this company, very friendly and efficient service. Would highly recommend South West Transmissions 👍

I would give these guys 5 stars all day long absolutely fantastic service and the best price we found anywhere. We dropped our car off on the Thursday and was ready on the friday. They called and left an email me notifying me it was complete. Since collecting the car it runs like it did when it left the showroom so I would highly recommend these guys to anyone.

Great guys who run this place. The man who works in the garage doing the cars is great at his job very knowledgeable and very polite. The other guy who I think is the owner is very polite young man. My car was fixed in 2 days and I'm very grateful for that and the cost of the work was very cheap compared to others I tried before coming here. I would recommend this place with no hesitation

They offered the best price and fixed my gearbox really quickly . My old Honda Jazz runs like new, I'm delighted! A 12 month warrenty given in writing. Easy and pleasant to deal with, they responded promptly to my emails. An all round excellent service! 5 stars

Got my EP3 gearbox refurbished a few months back.
Amazing, friendly and very honest service. Did what was needed and didn't do anything superfluous. Provided photographic updates.
Proper troopers with the speed of turn around. Price much better than what was offered by Honda garage.

Great service. The car was delivered to them late (by a vehicle recovery company), they were very understanding about this. Despite this setback not of their making, the car was turned around with a new clutch within 18hrs. Presumably the clutch on a Citroen C4 is not an easy or cheap job, but still had it back out the door in a remarkably short period of time. What's not to like. Would definitely use again.
