Mill Road Motors

The worst garage I have ever dealt with. In October last year our motor home had some work done on it here. When my husband went to collect it another motor home was parked so close he couldn't move ours so he went and asked for the other to be moved. As my husband sat stationery the other motor home was moved ripping the trim off the side of our van. Since then we have various phone calls and trips to and fro before we finally got the trim repaired only to be given a bill for £180 7 months later and the repaired part to be put back on the van ourselves. When we queried why we should pay the manager screamed and shouted down the phone at us and put the phone down on my husband several times. We will never ever use this garage again and will certainly not recommend it.

Extremely rude service from the entitled grumpy older gentleman at the front desk. The mechanical work was actually quick and cheap the first time and no complaints for work itself. MOT was cheaper elsewhere though and necessary with me being a student on a very tight budget, so never made plans to have MOT here too. After MOT, I returned to ask for a quote and was actually quoted prices only for the old gentleman to turn around and refuse to serve me as I had used someone else for the work. That was after politely explaining my situation and why I have very little to spend on the car, while also overlooking multiple sarcastic comments and questioning from him during his quote. This service is pathetic and I don't recommend it purely because of this man's attitude

I have been a customer at Mill Road Motors for 20 years and always had excellent service, from motor hones to my current car. Very good staff. Mike is a diamond.

Took Vw up in for multiple repairs, work carried out to a good standard.

Taken my converted camper van here on multiple occasions and have been very happy with the service. The mechanics always take their time diagnosing any issues I have had, even when other garages in the area wouldn't help me. The work is always completed in good time and to a good standard, with reasonable prices.

Excellent service - I've used Mill Road Motors for three years now , for both our family cars and they have without fail dealt with us extremely professionally. They are polite, honest (wouldn't charge when removing a stone which was causing the noise I was worried about), prompt and I trust them to do what is necessary and without over-charging. I would recommend them to anyone.

parked to enquire about work on a motorhome - parked along the public highway which the garage obviously uses to store its customers cars - (although some looked like they had been there a very long time and so im guessing are sorned ) was met by a very rude small older man (who i assume is the owner of the garage) who was nothing but abusive, rude and very unhelpful - will certainly not be booking my motorhome in - avoid like the plague
