Took my car in and they diagnosed the issue almost instantly, which was the same issue I thought my car had, and said they would call me back later with a quote for the work. I didn’t hear anything from them for three days. Called them again, gave them my information and what I was told the issue was again and they said they would get the quote asap. That was in late June and I still haven’t heard anything back yet. Considering their good reviews I thought this was the place to go for repairs but the customer service I received wasn’t great

I've used Alladin for a couple of years now and although expensive they always fixed my car well. This however, changed recently to the point I will not use them again.

I left my car for a full day for lightbulb change, however upon arrival I noted my car still displayed fault. They didn't bother to check if the issue was repaired. I went in and with another mechanic we discovered it's the connector that was burnt. They said they will order a replacement part and will get back to me.

This never happened. I called them to remind about the part order, but they never got back to me. After 2 weeks my light still wasn't fixed.

After another ~month I needed to regas my aircon with the new heatwave under way. I thought it's a good opportunity to try to fix my light connector again, since I needed to leave my car for regas anyway.

I left my car in the morning and called around 4.30pm to check if my car is ready. I was informed that "they are starting to work on it at the moment". I came in at 5.30pm to find out that my car hasn't been even touched. They explained they couldn't find it, despite the address given to the lady collecting the key in the morning (no parking space as usual). They didn't even try calling me to ask for the address to locate the car. I was told to leave my car and "they will fix it the next day".

I thought I'll give them one last chance and drove my car back on Monday. Same story. They didn't touch it.

I wish I haven't wasted my time dropping and collecting my car from there pointlessly. I wish I had a working aircon when driving for a weekend trip at 35deg. The only word that comes to my mind is incompetence.

I pulled up to this garage with a faulty ignition coil, my car unable to exceed 2k revs, and they took it in straight away started working on it with no questions asked. Got me out of a real tight spot that would have been an emergency otherwise. Friendly and helpful guys.

Very friendly and helpful staff! They were the closest garage and saved us when we had an emergency repair. However, they're quite expensive compared to other garages around Oxford (e.g. those in Witney).

What a relief to find this garage in Oxford. Initially took my new car to a national garage (Mr C. in pony lane) for it's first service and MOT. They 'found' over £600 worth of consumables (tyre, break pad, battery) that 'needed' replacing. I was slightly surprised.
Aladdin took a look and said nothing needs doing yet, no charge. Will be using them in the future as prefer a garage I can trust to do the right thing. They have customers going back decades apparently.
