Used tears recovery on Friday night to get us back home from our holiday.

I called this recovery service out after breaking down just North of Cromer bin the middle of the night. I'd notified the police i was stuck in a dangerous position so they attended and called TEARS. I told the driver I needed to get back to Hemsby but he refused to take me anywhere other that their yard in KINGS LYNN 65 miles away and in totally the wrong direction. Despite pleadings from myself and the police officers, the driver, having spoken to his boss still refused. But I still had to pay £180 call out charge on the spot, He then drove off leaving me completely stranded. There were no other local firms available and the police could not tow me, so I ended up sleeping in the car and paying another RELIABLE HELPFUL company namely PJ KERLEY, who came out and rescued me. Thanks TEARS. . . . I'll advise everyone I know to never ever use you, Leaving people stranded when you're on scene in a perfectly good tow truck is disgraceful. The attitude of the driver that picked me up absolutely stank to the point he was close to getting hurt.

I can’t rate this firm enough, I had broken down at 4am, I was in an Arctic and the trailer ABS system had broken beyond repair. Because I was fully loaded it had to be taken back to our depot in Hatfield.
After 2 other companies had let us down, because I was loaded, I eventually met a lovely young lad from Tears, this was at 3pm!
What a superstar he was, he is a great asset to Tears, polite, professional, and a fantastic driver. As for the recovery truck he was driving, what a piece of kit! It had gears!!! Twin splitter! As a hgv driver of over 30 yrs, this took me back to the good ole days.
I’m sorry I didn’t catch the young lads name, but he deserves a pay rise, you don’t know what sort of guy you’ve got. He is worth his weight in gold! I can’t rate him high enough. Thank you. Regards Sue.
