I did go ahead with the purchase although I had been misled by Mr Hain senior. I had emailed the company before travelling from Portobello to Dairsie, sometime before , to confirm the service had received my email which was headed up Mazda Bongo 45000 miles and I was told they had . Unfortunately when I arrived the vehicle they sold me had 56000 miles on the clock .
In the first six months a number of things went wrong with the vehicle . Unfortunately the company had no contingency plans when a vehicle they have sold in the first six months is of unsatisfactory quality. I only had one vehicle at the time so I was unable to leave the van in Dairsie. In addition , the warranty was not worth the paper it was written on as nothing seemed to be covered under warranty and the garage could not provide me with a courtesy car and were very reluctant initially to even look at the van .
Although Mr Hain was successful initially I appealed to the Appeal Court. Mr Hain has conveniently forgot to tell you that the appeal was successful. Buyers beware -very unpleasant experience
I would provide the company with minus points but system disallows
Who is going to buy something without seeing how things work...was such a shame as a lovely camper shame about the customer service.
*** Response to comments below: I totally understood that the camper had just arrived and you hadn't had a chance to look over it, you did explain this however I had travelled a long way so it made sense for me to look at it on this day as I was very keen to purchase. You did say to me that you wouldn't show me how the seats swiveled unless I bought it. I responded by saying, I am not going to buy something that I haven't seen how it works which was a reasonable point for me to make. However my main point of the initial review was to highlight how unprofessional and rude you came across.
You can be confident in there advice on getting the right Campervan
