Absolutely made up with the gearbox service I had done here. Professional staff, quick work, not only that, they were good enough to point out an issue on the inside of one of my tyres that I would never have seen otherwise and would’ve no doubt been a catastrophic failure at some point. My Ford Mondeo auto box failed near Heathrow and was a recovery job. I travelled home in a hire car and had my car delivered by RAC to Chester.
They were very honest and upfront about what was probably required and the cost. I authorised them to start asap and although they said there could be a delay before starting, I had the car back within a fortnight with a fully working reconditioned gearbox.
I have recently returned from a drive to France that included a trip to Andorra up and down the mountains to 2,400m altitude without missing a beat.
Great company, great job. It cost a fair amount but it’s what they initially quoted me so I can’t complain.

Emailed about a quote for a bmw auto was emailed back quickly and booked a day.

Dropped car off and was called up short time later to collect

Wow could notice a better change right away. what a difference in gear changes so much smoother dont even notice them cars on 87k so needed doing just wish I'd done it sooner thanks 👍

Suspected water in gearbox.
£60 for diagnosis.
Result was no water evident in gearbox,but require recon box at £3200.
Actually,gearbox was full of water as gearbox cooler had split.
Fixed my original box for £1000 elsewhere.
Suspect they didn't even look at it.
First impressions count,so won't be back.

CATC carried out a transmission oil change on our Volvo XC60 as it had done 90K miles and was slightly hesitant occasionally when down-shifting.
Excellent service at a great price (less than half what Volvo would charge).
Shifting is now seamless and slick.
Very happy customer. :)
