Had my vehicle for over two weeks and half as it was dropped down needing work at a 'busy period' without being booked in. I'd had basic work done previously and was very impressed with the service so trusted to use them again and didn't think I'd be caught out. Big mistake my vehicle was left aside whilst I sourced parts. I received no help or advice in sourcing the best possible oem quality parts at reasonable prices. My new reputable garage rings around for me and let's me know where I stand with pricing and brand quality. The owner came across as friendly, helpful and professional. I was told different things by people employed there. One was particularly half arsed, miserable and couldn't care less. The woman receptionist was lovely, honest and just going off what she was told. I was ringing in asking whats the score being fed various excuses by different people. This lead me to feel lied to, uniformed, extremely stressed out, depressed, and suffering from a loss of earnings as I needed my vehicle for work purposes. I sent parts there waiting to be fitted, I received conformation emails and texts that they'd been signed for by the owner yet was told they hadn't arrived. speaking to a more professional reputable dealership equivalent garage. Bolts at the back of the rocker cover were left completely loose (riverside said these had snapped and needed redrilling) there's no signs of redrilling and the bolts never had snapped having had it off and inspecting this with a professional myself after having mentioned it. My vehicle lost a great deal of oil quickly after the repair because the rocker cover was half on because of this. Not hard to tighten a few bolts (luckily I regularly check my fluids and top up) can't blame the cam wear on it entirely as I am having a leaky injector replaced. Luckily it's not enough damage to require a new top end but a lobe is slightly worn. adequate level of oil consistently, would of provided lubrication to prevent wear of the cam in the first place. So it is contributing factor. Oil is the blood of the engine to protect vital components from wear. (I always buy the best quality oils and do my research on components) A coolant hose with a firm push clip that apparently should not have ever come off as they have such a strong clip was never clipped on firmly eventually falling off being shaking on the bumpy roads. Losing my coolant risking potential engine failure and needing recovery. An outside temperature sensor was left hanging scraping the road, which could of easily been ripped off for now I've cable tied this neatly away from touching the road and didn't kick up a fuss because I felt I didn't want to put my vehicle in the wrong hands again. All this work cost me just shy of £700 in labour plus £450 of parts i supplied. All I had was a turbo, intercooler, a service, coolant and an MOT with no major expensive advisorys I've been told I could of had it done for less than half the price and in a few hours on a hobble from a professional working for a big company. I'm under the impression the vehicle was left there then slapped apart and back together within a few hours. IF A JOBS WORTH DOING ITS WORTH DOING RIGHT! would not recommend, I feel I couldn't trust Riverside again. They had plenty of time to carry the job out properly to the high standard I expected.

I came there asking for an emergency fix as I was traveling back home hundreds of miles away. Despite the fact they were already busy everything was sorted out fast and professionally without previous booking. I wish I had this garage where I live. A+++

The service in this garage is second to none. They gave us a car to go shopping while ours was been done. Then rang us when out car was finished. All work we have done here has been spot on and we travel over 20 miles to it.

Unfortunately this garage quoted me £350 to fix a problem to pass an MOT but when I asked what the parts were that needed replacing they couldn't tell me as they "haven't looked yet", so I was disappointed they had arrived at a price without knowledge of the part they needed to buy, my partner bought the parts needed for £100 and fixed it. Despite this, they did a thorough MOT and picked up on issues that another garage did not pick up on, probably won't be using again sadly because of the pricing.

Saved the day again my battery died. They came to house jump started car and fitted new battery. Reset the electronics and bill for everything was a lot cheaper than just new battery from several well known car suppliers. Than you Chis and his team.
