Jamie and his team are expert, competent mechanics. They consistently turn jobs over fast, really fast. On top of that they are just nice people and their ethos is always to go out of their way to help you. If there isn’t some van or car I can borrow while my car is being fixed, I’m always offered a lift. If garages could get a Michelin star, this place should get one.

I've used this garage for quite a few years now and I cannot fault them. Again this year, they went above and beyond to get my car ready and I felt terrible seeing them all still working hard late into the evening in minus temperatures. They always act with compassion and integrity. Thank you!!

Needed the glow plugs replacing on my vehicle, a job that no other garage in the area would pick up until mid-January at the earliest. I called On The Road mid-afternoon on December 22nd, who said they could fit me in at 9am the next morning. By 9:30am, the job was completed for a very reasonable price: less than a quarter of the price offered by the local dealership. Absolutely outstanding, friendly, fast, and knowledgable service. Was amazing to be fit in so quickly so close to Christmas. You can definitely tell that customer care is the highest priority for On The Road - I'll definitely be back. Thank you.

Took my Honda CRV to have a new clutch and flywheel fitted. Not the easiest of cars to perform this job on I've been told by various professionals.
Was given a quote and on collection THE SAME DAY got the bill exactly as quoted NO HIDDEN EXTRAS...
These guys are polite professional and having enquired with a whole lot of local garages before hand considerably better value for money than the rest.
Would definitely recommend.

Driving about two miles of Aberystwyth, a large pipe sheered off from the turbo unit of my car, causing a huge drop in compression and a plume of black smoke from the exhaust. I limped the car to the local KwikFit, who identified the problem but were unable to fix it. They recommended taking the car to On the Road, who upon seeing we had a car and roof-box full of holiday stuff, two kids and a big dog, kindly dropped everything to creatively repair the turbo and get us on the way all within 10 minutes. What could have been a disaster some 300 miles from home became an opportunity to show our kids how to restore ones faith in humanity using just expertise, generosity and an electric drill. Really great service. Thank you!

Where do I begin? We are on holiday with our caravan, 300 miles from home. Our car was occasionally not starting and we had called Green Flag. Neither they nor a local garage could get to the problem. We called Jamie at On The Road and explained our situation, worried about using the car during our holiday and when towing the van home. Jamie was drowning in work and yet he made time to diagnose and fix the problem - a faulty relay. Jamie and his colleague Huw were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They could not do enough for us. Without their prompt service, our holiday would have been ruined. They were reasonably priced too.

I would like to pass my deepest gratitude to Jamie and Huw, and I wish them every success and good wishes for the future. Thanks again both. Martin and Shelly Freeman.
