We had arranged to have various work carried out by Latitude on our Discovery 2, to include a new rear quarter chassis, new bumpers, split charge system and various other work.
Orginally it had been left with them for easily over a month without having heard anything from them on how progress was going. After paying in full and Latitude making their excuses we finally got the Discovery back but without having all the work completed.
They've messed us about, dropping the car in and picking it up with the work still incomplete various times. It originally went into them into then in February, it is now August and the work is only just complete.
Sorry guys but your communication has been terrible as is customer service.
The quality of the work was good but not sure that is enough to warrant return or recommending to anyone. The rear electrics failed in the rear bumper within a week of having it back and not convinced they're suitable for off road.
They had my land rover for 14 months for a respray and cosmetic work, with an original estimate of completion of 3 months and on a firm price. The respray is simply a disgrace. They have painted on galvanised steel panels, without treating it properly as a result the paint is flaking off. The paint that they have applied elsewhere is below standard, and is already rusting through. I am now having to spend the money again to get it done properly with a professional company.
The attention to detail is exceptionally poor as is the communication. I have been misled several times, with assurances that the work would be completed - all not to have been partially or not completed. When I pointed out Matt Goodman's obvious failure to complete the work to a reasonable standard and in a reasonable time frame, he became intransient and refused to complete the work.
I'm happy to provide anyone the original quote for a full re-spray (not a 'blow over') if anyone wants to have evidence to the contrary of Latitude's answer - I paid £10K.... It also doesn't answer why Latitude painted on un prepared galvanised steel. A professional outfit wouldn't have.
Interesting that Matt has had to recommend his own company twice on google reviews... and his brother has had to review positively too to bump up their reviews it says it all.
Diagnosis confirmed it was fixed and serviced professionally, promptly and at reasonable rates.
Freindly service that's tried, tested and trusted.
