Polite staff but the shop opening times are confusing. It's either open earlier than stated or later. Also, it's 2022 and they should add heaters to keep hot food from going cold. I understand that the prices would rise but they have anyway so why not?

Went in at 9.45am to get some breakfast, I was told that they had run out of bacon and sausages and would have to wait 15 minutes for a sausages in a roll so I ordered along with a latte. The guy that served me said he would get my latte while I waited, he then went on to do the bins after 5 minutes I had to ask for my coffee which had been sitting at the machine. During my wait I noticed how dirty the store was, it looked like the shop floor, windows and display cabinets (where fresh sausage rolls etc are kept) had not been cleaned since the previous day. I was unimpressed by the state of the store overall. My server carried on doing the rubbish. Only a couple of customers came in during this time both asking for vegetarian sausage rolls and were told they hadn't had any delivered so they left. Once the sausages were done he went straight over to make my roll and I cannot be certain but I'm pretty sure he didnt wash his hands. I finally left 20 minutes later. This store is very small and there were 3 employees that I could see so I dont get why they were not on top of fresh cooked food supply or the cleanliness of the store. This is the first time that I have every been unhappy in any Gregg's that I have visited over the years. I wont be going back to this one.

Tasty food, good selection, of late it has been closing an hour early quite frequently. One lady could perhaps be a little more hospitable and polite when serving customers, otherwise a commendable branch.
