The Village Bakery

Place didn't have ability to accept cards. What business isnt able to accept cards?! That and they obviously didnt want my assistance dog in the building. This meant i wasnt able to try any of their food. And that was a shame as i was going to buy lunch supplies for a large party the next day! Avoid if possible.

Friendly staff, lovely food, I regularly bring my workforce to this bakery for breakfast and struggle to eat for the rest of the day, and occasionally treat myself to lunch. Lovely sandwich selection and of course guaranteed to get a lush cake . Give it a try , you wont regret it.

Lovely village bakery. The best bread pudding and lardy cakes foe miles. Will definately be back. Huge selection of pasties too.

Can thoroughly recommend the belly buster of a breakfast bap from here, very tasty. I also succumbed to a piece of bread pudding, equally as delicious. Many thx to the friendly folk that run this bakery for steering me to all the good places to photograph in and around Wickham

Visited following a recent review of how good the breakfast rolls are, I would much prefer to inhale asbestos than buy here again.

Unimpressed. Made to feel like an inconvenience for asking for a baguette to be made due to the lack of selection. The baguette itself was woeful to say the least. Very meager fillings and the salad was even more pitiful. I ended up having to add my own ingredients at home which defeats the purpose of buying from the bakery. Especially at these prices. Disappointed.

Been in twice, first time I had a sausage roll which fell apart and was tasteless. The 2nd time I tried a flapjack and a shortbread, they both went in the bin. Nice location but the quality really lets this place down.

Not great a cheese ham and coleslaw sandwich that was warm and tasteless and Bakewell tart that tasted of cardboard both went in the bin
