This is the first time to this area and what Lovely Bakery this is. Plenty of choice, Friendly staff and fair Prices. If I am in the area again I will pop in. Highly Recommended

Stopped here for some breakfast and was sadly disappointed. Turned up reasonably quick but all three of our breakfasts were luke warm at best. Cakes are always good here though.

This really is the best traditional bakers. It would always be my first choice for a pasty or sausage roll and custard slice. The staff are always so friendly and it is consistently good and tasty. Not expensive so you can get a lot of tasty treats for your money. Get there early in the day though as the do tend to sell out of a lot by early afternoon.

Just visited this establishment and what should have been a pleasant experience totally destroyed by the rude and incompetent staff. Separate queue to order food for the cafe ignored despite the large number of staff milling around, order written down very slowly and then one item completely forgotten. No apology offered just rudeness. Tables outside left full of plates and obviously not cleaned, they've never heard of hygiene. After over half an hour finally left because of other commitments, managed to persuade them to allow me to take a bap rather that trying to get a refund. Be warned and use the Waitrose cafe it can't be any worse.

I have bought rolls etc from here okay. But on a Saturday I took took the wife for a breakfast. We queued where it said to queue for the cafe and we were ignored in preference to the takeaway customers along with another. A previous cafe customer left and said they had given up to join the other queue to be served but nobody told us. Complete indifference.

We left for the Purple Fig which was perfect.

What is there not to like. The legendary Soothills bakery have been baking for as long as I can remember. A testament to quality bakery.

Their Lardy cakes are to die for😂.Used to buy them in their shop in Fareham years ago. Then learned their was a Soothills quite a bit closer, but still.bit of a trip from nor nor West of
Southampton .If you phone them they will put them by for you to collect later.

Good food.
Always goes so quick.
