Absolutely brilliant local bakery. Welcoming atmosphere and exceptional bread and cakes. Lovely owners who are more than happy to help and answer any questions you might have. Very busy and very popular so pop in early in the morning or have a chat about placing a regular order - nothing better than collecting fresh bread on a Saturday morning! 5 star quality food and service.

I've been here a few times at the end of the day and normally they have next to nothing available. Today I came at the beginning of the day to find a really nice selection of stuff so i guess they are really popular.

I bought a bacon roll, coffee and a pork, Apple and surfing sausage roll. £3.75 it cost me which I think was a really good price considering the quality of the food.

If you are gluten free or coeliac avoid this place. Just tried to purchase three regular bacon rolls and asked if they could put bacon into a pre brought gluten free roll as they do not sell them and was told very rudely "no no no" shaking her finger with no explanation or apology and then walked out the back leaving us standing in the shop. I will now tell everyone as I live local to avoid in future. Very frustrating!!

An absolute place you have to pop into for your snacks on the way to work. Very very cheap here and as for the bacon rolls very plentiful. You wont be disappointed.

Always pop into The Bakery on a Friday morning, for a end of week treat. Great food. Hot and cold. Sausage rolls are absolutely amazing. Prices very reasonable. 👍👍👍👍👌

When I lived in Christchurch we knew to get there early as their excellent products always go quickly! Never failed to give great customer service.

Sadly The Bakery is now closed permanently due to the owners’ ill-health. It’s been the mainstay of good bread locally for years and years - nothing could beat it - and it’ll be really missed. Every good wish to Richard and Karen for their future and thanks for using your skills to everyone’s benefit.

Ticks all the boxes; great quality food, excellent value, and always superb customer service. Highly recommended for anyone passing through the area.
