There is an appropriate seating area for eating in and they accept contactless payments.

Attended the venue in company with my 5 year old. We decided on a baguette, ham and salad for the boy and cheese salad (freshly made with mayo) for me. We both had a ribena and a chocolate covered donut for dessert. Overall the service was friendly but slow , the quality of the baguette was good, tasted fresh as did the salad. The seating area was similar to being stuck in economy class on Baghdad airways no atmosphere whatsoever.Greggs is much better for eating in. The only thing they had was a picture of a donut on the wall, very poor indeed. Air conditioning was turned up way too high. But quality wise Doringtons is better, but I guess you get what you pay for. Doringtons is pretty much double the price of Gregg's. Overall 5/10 ,would I go again ? Not anytime soon.

Absolutely rubbish never will go here again. I went the first time a few months back and was in a rush and very busy and when i got home had literally minutes to eat lunch- Only to notice they forgot my sandwich!!!! told me she had put all my order in the bag except she put everything in but my sandwich which was the only thing i had ordered for myself, so i phoned the store to complain and again was on my way out when the staff member rudely said i can pick it up next time. My husband then had to rush there before we left to get my food. I worked at Dorringtons and know the standards they keep and this shop DOES NOT keep the standards or the customer service! but because i used to work there and i love dorringtons and its my closest one i gave in and gave it a second go, I asked for hot bacon brie and cranberry for my husband to be told they cannot make custom orders but they can put a tiny bit of cranberry in and do not do hot bacon with brie (Another lie!) ... The chunks of Brie was like a massive brick and the tiniest wipe of cranberry with salty old bacon. not to mention the butter was as thick as anything it made me feel sick. also the quiche was rank which is annoying as love a dorringtons quiche... came on here to see some ludicrous orders being made on the positive reviews adding that because the staff no people they make up their orders, however refused to make up mine. absolutely appalled.

I know the sausage rolls are sadly now made to a different recipe to when i was young. However, the pastry is still so tasty. Cream cakes yum! Baguettes fresh , Victoria sponge cake remains a firm family favourite 👍

The best service with lovely staff amazing high quality food with excellent ingredients I work outside and get food there everyday. The food is a little more expensive but the quality is many times the small difference paid. Old school is the best school and Dorringtons is the last of the old school.

Everyone queuing properly, but when I visited was early and everyone obeying rules wearing masks.
Food good.
Variety of options from cold to hot takeaway and more homely treats.
