One of the most important things about a nice desert store is service. People expect to enjoy a piece of cake and spend some time in the store. However, the service here is terrible (not an overstatement). The staff can hardly be bothered to say anything else but the bare minimum of what was asked for. Worse still, I asked over the phone a while ago about the possibility of getting an entire mili crepe cake. I was to be charged the piece-by-piece price of almost £6 per slice and a total of 8 slices. While that was perfectly acceptable, I just discovered recently that they actually offer a lower price if one buys an entire cake. So clearly, the lady over the phone was more than willing to conceal this fact for a charge of over twice the displayed price on the official menu.

If you are visiting be very aware of their tendency to over charge and be prepared for a terse staff.

Staff training and service definitely needs substantial improvement.

Mille crepes. Different flavours. Durian, mango, strawberry, matcha, Oreo. Big portions. The seating area is quite small.

The matcha millecrepe tastes good, and I think it’s the only place where you can buy millcrepes in Cambridge. Maybe £5 is a bit pricey? And my stomach felt a bit bad after that. Probably too much cream.

They offer really authentic and unique desserts, that I haven't tried anywhere else before. I think all their desserts are freshly made, since they taste really good. The staff is very friendly. Definitely try their shaved ice-creams, they're so nice! As well as all their other desserts. There is also a bit of seating, in case you want to stay and eat.

I really recommend the bingsoo (shaved ice)! It's really well done though I recommend splitting with a pal or two. I was very satisfied splitting the large matcha shaved ice with two of my friends. It's hard to find legit shaved ice in Cambridge so I'm very grateful to this place.
I haven't had the other pastries, but the shaved ice probably gives the best value considering it's enormous and best split with a friend.

The bubble teas are really nice and plenty of choices. Had several different desserts and always enjoyed them. Don’t see how people moan about exotic cakes being around £5.00 when the ingredients are so expensive, but that’s just my opinion. Had the matcha tiramisu and durian crepe this evening and both really good.

So disappointed. Awful matcha tiramisu. It shouldn’t be named that just because bad quality matcha tea powder is on the top. The lady fingers layer seems to have been soaked in milk, there is a layer of sponge cake at the bottom, cream overly sweet and full of gelatine. Lastly it cost over £7!!

Can’t give it 1 star as from the shop window it looked good. My fault for falling for it. Price doesn’t always reflect quality. Please avoid. This place gives oriental desserts a bad rep.

Have the bubble teas from here regularly, ordered a birthday cake which was beautiful, the service was great too. Highly recommend their bubble teas & crêpe cakes.
