Very nice traditional bakery. Nice and tasty pasteries, freshly made. Good coffee as well. They also have sandwiches that look nice although I haven't tried those. Good service at a very reasonable price. Recommended!

I love Day's... for the quality of the bakery food, and its history in North Hertfordshire & South Cambridgeshire.
The staff here are great & friendly... but far too slow 😞. There is always a queue outside the shop because of this; 10-15mins to be served most Saturday's in the AM... when there are only 3-5 customers waiting; far too long!
Love Day's... but this branch is far too slow re: it's speed of service.

The Days Bakery at Shelford its the best deli around. Great choices of fresh bread, cakes, sandwiches, baguettes, Pastries, hot and cold drinks at affordable prices.

My Daughter loves visiting, we park in carpark across the road, walk into Days and she always orders the Pink sparkle Donuts and a cold drink, takes it over to the park to enjoy 😁 I would take a picture but it goes far too quickly 😂

Highly recommend visiting the bakery, the staff are always welcoming and friendly and the service is very quick.

Their prawn baguettes and vanilla danish pastries are the best around.

I visited the shop today and ordered a flat white and a plain butter croissant.
Probably the nicest croissant I have ever eaten, soft, crispy and buttery, enough to make the french jealous.
The coffee however was severely lacking.
(I brew bean to cup at home so I know what I should be drinking)
The flat white comes served as a latte in a very large cup. It was tongue burningly hot, definitely over the recommended temperatures, either they are overheating the milk or adding boiling water..
Coffee tasted bitter and too hot, no air bubbles in the milk to give a velvety smoothness of a flat white. Disappointing because the pastry was so lovely.
