Village Bakers

It's great to have a proper artisan bakery in the village with bread freshly made on the premises every day. Great selection of bread and other products and really friendly staff (not a bar code machine) and the taste of their bread is so much nicer than the "freshly baked" stuff from the supermarket at a similar price. It's also good to support a small, local business which isn't part of a national chain of supermarkets! Keep up the good work.

I visit the bakery early every Saturday morning to get my bread, crusty and extra crusty (The blacker the better....) rolls. They sell a range if artisan breads which I really must try one day! The staff are always friendly even during the opening of the doors rush.

Love the Village Bakers. Me and my 4 year old love 'Bakery Friday'. The service has always been friendly, professional and welcoming and the way they have continued to provide the local community with baked goods in a safe way throughout lockdown has been amazing. See you tomorrow 🍞🥐🍪🎂🍰

Their granary loaves are just the best. But I've not found anything I dislike. Service is just wonderful. And they've delivered to me during the current health crisis which has just been so helpful. Thank you

Lovely, helpful staff. No request is too much trouble, food all freshly made and, big bonus for me is...Golden Wonder crisps which whisks me straight back to my childhood. 😀

Delicious cakes and pastries baked traditional way.

Very friendly and welcoming with a fantastic selection of baked goods, pastries, cakes and so much more!

Had a small granary roll with falafel tomato and spinach. Asked for avocado and houmous which they didn’t have. Roll was rock hard and forgot the spinach. £3.10 was a bit steep considering. Shop looks inviting but food disappointing.
