Village Bakers

Oh YES I like this place. Nice bread cakes and pastries. All freshly made. Every village had one years ago, all with their own identity and different in thier own little ways. Unfortunately these little bakers have all but gone because of Greggs that nasty chain with stuff that comes frozen in lorries. Bring back the little independent bakers like this one in Carshalton.

I found it - my favourite bakers. Big shout out to Tracey who is gorgeous, but so are the rest of the staff. So welcoming and lovely. In finding the best bakers, I also found my favourite doughnut. It's taken a bit to beat the value and perfect flavour of the Morrisons doughnut... but they've done it! I cannot believe how generous the morello cherry filling is. It's crammed... look at the photo. Ok... it's pricey but you ain't gonna get a doughnut like this anywhere... including Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts. This is off the scale... and if my diabetic nurses are reading this... I only have one once a month. Everyone... their hot sausage rolls are perfect, eccles cake enormous and fab, crusty and soft white rolls are amazing too. Definitely my favourite bakers ever! This is the kind of place you carry on coming back to, even if you move away, out of the area.

Shame the little lady who served me was very unfriendly, rushing me for no reason (I was the only customer at that time).
Not a nice sight when you have just finished a night shift.

Lovely little bakery with the most delicious doughnuts! Staff are lovely too, no wonder they have been around for so long. Love them ❤️

Lovely bakery so fresh

Amazing local products are served by a wonderful and friendly staff. I love going in each week to pick up fresh bread and treats while choosing a freshly made roll for lunch.

Very nice bakery which has been in Carshalton for years. I enjoy the hot chocolate they serve, and the staff are consistently helpful and friendly.

Very nice bakers, friendly staff and great food. My only grumble is some of the staff keep the same gloves on when preparing your food having taken cash from a previous customer. They have an extra glove next to the till but some staff do not use. Come on guys please...cash is the worst thing for germs ect..
