I'll be honest 1.60 for a loaf is a lot for me, I stick to good value for stuff you know you like, after sampling this, it's not everyone's cup of tea but certainly worth a shot If you don't like sweet, don't like bland but like something in the middle, I have tried it with cheese, peanut butter and beef + salad. For me it was all good with the cheese and peanut butter but it actually took aeay from the flavour of beef. I think the firmness of the bread may be offputting for some but I found it to be nice.

Anyway I walked in there on my way home from work after closing hours as the shop was still open ( around 11:30pm - normal closing time is 11pm ) and the gentleman came out with a massive grin with a massive aura of pleasantness. After a long day he'd probably had he was quite happy to serve me a loaf and assured me it was very fine bread which I now do not doubt. Honestly it was in and out in less than a minute but I'm so suprised the man was cheerful and pleasant. I wish him and the buisness all the luck in the world

This is my first time ordering from the restaurant and I am disappointed with the food quality. The only good things I can mention is the free cake and coleslaw. The driver was also smiley and happy too. But I am disappointed with the quality of food I received, the rice served with both issues was old and tasted and smelled stale. So was the meat, it was sticky and stale. The patties are a disappointment, the patty hardly had any filling, it was more air and pastry than anything.

I will not be ordering from this place again.

Despite what the other reviews say, we like this place. The curried goat includes a thick gravy which is better than what I have had at other places locally and whilst there are bones in with the meat, the pieces of goat are deliciously tender. We like the plantain too; it’s often not moist enough elsewhere but you can’t make that complaint with these guys. The free banana bread that they include with each delivery is a nice touch and the delivery guy is an impossible-to-dislike, very friendly man. Oh and almost forgot; they’re cheaper than all of the other Caribbean delivery services we have had in the area.

The Food is amazing. The Oxtail is my favourite however the curry goat and jerk chicken is also spot on. they are the nicest staff always warm, kind, welcoming. G Bless deserves the local support of the community. any negatives reviews are people that clearly have no idea about authentic Jamaican cuisine and get a weird kick out of harming a small honest business. Not good, a very disappointing meal. I ordered via deliveroo yesterday. So sorry that I did not check the reviews. I ordered a Curry Goat with rice and peas, the rice was fine, but the Curry Goat was just small lame looking pieces of overcooked meat and bits of large bones. For a side dish I had Mac & Cheese, I could not believe the state of the dish!!! It was hard macaroni that looked and tasted off!! There was no cheese (not that it mattered!!!) I just could not stomach it but due to hunger I tried to make the most of it but only struggled a few mouthfuls!! It was stomach churning!! Never again. Avoid at all cost (So sorry that I didn't!!! )

I have ordered from this place now and I can say I won’t be ordering from them again.
The first time I ordered from them was back in April and never got any plantain and I just ordered from them again today.
Their “Large” curried goat with Rice & peas was NOT a large it was more like a medium with barely any goat in it.

I ordered from a different Caribbean before and their Large went through me and my two smallest with food left over. Think I’ll just stick to ordering from them from now on.

Not impressed!!!

Words can not express how disgusting this was. My niece had previously ordered from this place. I decided to give it a try. Big mistake! The menu said soup of the day. So I called beforehand to check what it was. Ordered 2 large Chicken Soup using Just Eat and clearly noted in the comment section that I wanted Chicken soup. What arrived was that slop. Shredded chicken, 1 large flat dumpling, 1 twist dumpling, 3 pieces of carrot and 1 lump of something indescribable. My sister said she found mutton, red peas, and shredded chicken in hers.

It was so bad that we couldn't eat it. It was as if they scrapped the bottom of all the left over soups of the week and put them all together. Who would think that was a good idea?

When I called the man that answered was proud to tell me that he cooked it and it tasted good. He also claimed that when I called, he said that it was Chicken and Red Pea soup. I explained that if that was what he told me, I would not have ordered it. I wanted chicken soup.
He made no attempt to rectify the situation and just kept saying 'chicken and red pea' then he finally said "God bless you."

Now that I have read the other reviews (my big mistake not reading them first) then I can join them and recommend that you avoid at all costs. For the people that had positive experiences, it would be good if they had posted photos, like those that have had a negative experience. Unfortunately it seems that more people have had a negative experience with this business.

I don't want anyone to lose their income, but he needs to be re-train, if he was ever trained in the catering sector. I definitely will not be using this business again.

Do yourself a favour never eat from this shop I’ve been on this planet for 32 years and never witnessed anything like it. He had the cheek to say do I want a refund this place needs shutting down!!!
